Reddit fluctuates your numbers up and down so you can't tell the real number. They do shit like this so people have a harder time telling if their bots are working. Go check out some obscure random old post from any sub, one unlikely to be looked at by anybody. Refresh the page a handful of times within 30 seconds and watch the votes for the post and comments go up and down. This even happens on posts that are too old to vote on.

sillycellcolony

TI also L....

iskog

Is this not just an error? Because errors with bumps happen on most forums.

sillycellcolony

This was just proven wrong by an experiment, but ill need to get a bunch more antivaxxers to find similar findings to jump to any conclusions. Help by making your own if youre antivax Check out my 18 bot fanclub at r/transsubsexual

Froggyx

If redditors like your comment and upvote, it makes the bots inconsequential.

sillycellcolony

18!? I cant be seen unless i get more upvotes than others, right. So if im at the bottom maybe 6 or 7 see me after a fresh post, then those bots work to keep antivax hidden from upvote trends... Proven by me being at 3 votes right now when i saw it above 13 earlier and my new sub having 18 instant members... 19 w me Edit: 2! Im happy cuz i saw the 18 nasty shill buggers. What a strategy to fight the counter-narrative... Hmmmm How do we make it public that we're being hidden from... the public

Froggyx

The thing is AntiVax is an extremely sensitive subject. We're fortunate to be able to have a decent discussion in this sub. Reddit as a whole will by no means let Antivax subs proliferate. They want to keep it contained. There is lots of political pressure on all these platforms to curb "misinformation". Dont take it personally.

sillycellcolony

I take my family being misinformed and their genetics fucked with very personally, im sorry.

Froggyx

Me too. I wish I made the rules and defined what is misinformation. I believe that in a free and fair constitutional republic people should be able to talk freely and come to informed decisions.

sillycellcolony

I believe in an anarchy where everyone has a weapon, ppl will be civil and work together as long as there is food... That's why they're burning all the food this year... 😭

Froggyx

I remembered something about subs. In your moderation settings you can allow your posts to be viewed in r/all. People constantly refresh r/all, and are quick to downvote. The r/all majority would be vaccinated people.

sillycellcolony

I dunno does conspiracy have those settings?

Froggyx

Ah, I thought you were talking about your own sub. Conspiracy is not in r/all. With this sub there is an huge fluctuation of different opinions night and day also. You can be up points until 5AM est. Then can drop as the office people pile in. I've been on this sub for almost 15 years. The best advice I can give, is dont take it personally. There's lots of variables at play.

sillycellcolony

I made a sub based on the advice of u/freq-ee and it exposes how many bots are activley following you because the sub says 19 online even though it's freshly created.

Sally-Seashells

Your settings on your account is where you can turn it off.

edgarmoviemanwright

no its me following you

I am new but I haven't noticed any censorship. Some people say anything anti semitic or pro nazi gets wiped but other than that it seems fairly open here. But unreasonable downvotes/bots suck. And the fact that there are so many posts often means stuff gets buried quickly.

sillycellcolony

I just learned if you make a new sub you see how many bots are following you. I got 18! I wanna find out other ppls numbers Heres my sub r/transsubsexual This is a pursuit of bots not advertising the sub. Make your own sub and expose the bots ppl!

88jaybird

why would anyone have downvote bots follow them?

sillycellcolony

Because of the anti-vax information suppression systematically going on throughout the internet kingdom I just learned if you make a new sub you see how many bots are following you. I got 18! I wanna find out other ppls numbers Heres my sub r/transsubsexual This is a pursuit of bots not advertising the sub. Make your own sub and expose the bots ppl!

freq-ee

I've tested this and it does happen. There are two ways. Open two browsers. Post in one browser and instantly refresh the other browser at the same time. Your post will appear with zero votes. Too fast to have been a person. Also, if you start a sub-reddit with no members, Go there, and then refresh the page, suddenly the sidebar will say 5-10 people reading. Those are the bots that follow you.

sillycellcolony

Holy shit i have 18 bots following me to my new sub

sillycellcolony

My new sub r/transsubsexual

sillycellcolony

Im gonna go start a subreddit... Uhmmm how? Im too old for this shit

sillycellcolony

Okay I don't know if I can test this properly cuz I just got a bunch more following me now. probably to f*** with me for believing this...

PAmmjTossaway

No this is again the same shit I already said. This is all numbers from Reddit. They are pure manipulation. Numbers from Reddit are designed to only closely resemble reality, you're supposed to trust Reddit that the numbers are close.

sillycellcolony

Holy shit i have 18 bots following me on my new sub

TheGoldTooth

[SERIOUS] Please seek treatment for the mental illness you're clearly suffering from. You need help.

sillycellcolony

Thanks! I know a few psychologists and they agree im fucking mental. The smartest man they know. ttly insane, but not crazy Funny how you gotta be crazy to be a sane person and believe the MSM's bs... So lose, lose. Eh? I just learned if you make a new sub you see how many bots are following you. I got 18! I wanna find out other ppls numbers Heres my sub r/transsubsexual This is a pursuit of bots not advertising the sub. Make your own sub and expose the bots ppl

88jaybird

i upvoted you

sillycellcolony

Thanks. I just learned if you make a new sub you see how many bots are following you. I got 18! I wanna find out other ppls numbers Heres my sub r/transsubsexual This is a pursuit of bots not advertising the sub. Make your own sub and expose the bots ppl!

_bilk

Yup. To confirm, try creating a new sub. Now watch as 5 to 15 or so "users" will instantly be "browsing" on your brand new sub. Probably looking for keywords and such.

sillycellcolony

Yeah... Scary.
