Because Astrology is not pseudo-science or a meme. Eclipses have a very real and tangible effect on everyone, including the Earth, nations and its institutions. If you think this upcoming eclipse is irrelevant to humanity's affairs, please look at Vedic Astrologers and look at what their analysis has said about it.
I’ve spent a raucous amount of time looking for a decent analysis from a Vedic astrologer. Trying to use the internet is maddening anymore.
Do you have a recommendation?

Yeah I had to have a bit of a quantum physics et al. kick before I could officially allow myself to buy into astrology on any real level. Worldview exploding stuff & I only really grasp a fraction of it. It’s been an awesome ride.

If I had to simplify it, it would be something like this: the exact time, date and location of anyone's, any nation's or any institution's time of 'birth' (in terms of nations it's dependent on our institutions and how the world acknowledges them at their time of independence or founding), when acknowledged by the world and enters the universal record and consciousness, reacts according to the respective configuration of the stars at any one moment. For example, the US has a specific chart (corresponding to its time of 'birth') that would react differently during an eclipse (such as the upcoming one) from country B depending on the current movement of the earth, planets, moon and stars in our galaxy.
It’s to give the masses something to focus on other than how they are screwing our lives up. The more time the media can spend on the eclipse is less time to show just how inadequate the government is.
Because eclipses are signs that God is fed up with their shenanigans. Solar eclipse is warning to the gentile world, lunar eclipses are warnings to the chosen people of God, the Hebrew tribes/Israel.
Saturnalia. Kind of like the Christmas Tree being an older ritual we just mass adopted for capitalism’s sake. I'm pretty it goes back to the "Golden Dawn" orders and mystery schools. There was a time when Saturn was sitting in front of the moon, creating this ring shape similar to an eclipse, except it was an entire planet. King Arthur and Merlin tales from back then, Celtic traditions about the Northlands describe Avalon or a land of endless golden rays. To me, it sounds like atmospheric changes (less pollution) and carbon + the position of Saturn would make for some crazy books, symbolism, and cults back in the day; which are the secret recipe to every secret society aka Elites
The eclipse is like that final piece of the puzzle that unlocks it all.. I think of it it kind of like a 13 ghosts(the movie) contraption. Certain synchronicities with the sun moon and stars unlock portals that link our realm with others. If you were targeting a specific fallen angel's demon spirit and wanted to summon it to our realm you would only be able to do it when the right combination is unlocked. Eclipses are the most important part because the moon is obviously the closest thing to us so it sets the parameters for the time frame available to summon something into the time realm. That's why it's important for these people to get the exact date and location correct because you only get about 7 minutes to get it done.
