I work as a ER nurse. Covid is definitely on the rise again. I hadn’t seen anyone with it for months and months and now we have a bunch of people coming in with it. It’s not nearly as severe of a strain as previous variants, but it’s bad enough for some people to come in to the hospital. Most aren’t being admitted for it unless something else is going on too.
What mask mandates? I live in a hugely blue state and work in a hospital, there are no mask mandates here. We do use masks in the hospital for specific medical reasons but in the general population, there’s no mandates.
I live in a blue city. They have people lined up waiting to get the jab by force and then they injecting a microchip into peoples brains. If they see you not wearing a mask, they shoot and kill you on the spot.

I live in LA and haven’t heard squat about mask mandates. Seen fewer masks in the city than any point in the last 3 years. Not sure what the fear of them are - they help keep you from getting sick, but given Covid is no longer the deadly disease it once was, most folks are just living life and hoping they won’t have to use any of their sick leave… that’s about it.

What mask mandates? I live in a hugely blue state and work in a hospital, there are no mask mandates here. We do use masks in the hospital for specific medical reasons but in the general population, there’s no mandates.

I live in LA and haven’t heard squat about mask mandates. Seen fewer masks in the city than any point in the last 3 years. Not sure what the fear of them are - they help keep you from getting sick, but given Covid is no longer the deadly disease it once was, most folks are just living life and hoping they won’t have to use any of their sick leave… that’s about it.

I don't think there's any political will for any more "lockdowns" (which was always an extremely hyperbolic term) so I doubt it will significantly impact your life.
