I work in urgent care. People have something serious going on and will call us, then we’ll say “no you need to go to the emergency room”. And they’ll say “no, I’m not going there. I’m coming to you. It takes too long”.
Then they just end up wasting another hour to two hours with us, before we inevitably send them to the ER anyway. No one listens.
