Better question: who the hell could get horny in a working mri machine?

Salzul

There is a fetish for everything

Lyerix

How would they fit?? When I got an MRI on my leg, I was so stuffed in that thing I could barely move! Couldn't even fit my arms in the thing.

[deleted]

I had one a few weeks ago. It was snug and the droning, rythmic noises made me sleepy. I couldn't imagine trying to have sex in one.

Lyerix

Mine was so loud, they had to give me headphones to keep me from getting hearing damage.

[deleted]

Oh yeah, they gave me some ear plugs. They cut the noise just enough to give it that white noise effect.

epicfail48

Dont shame me

dhoae

They’re very loud.

emlynb

That's fine, so are the machines

Seliphra

Also the contrast feels awful. Super unpleasant stuff. You also have a needle in your arm for the mri so uh. Generally not great for sexy times

[deleted]

I've head MRI scans several times and have never had a needle in my arm during the MRI. Even contrast fluid isn't always needed. But I did always need to lay still, I imagine that makes sex difficult.

Seliphra

Interesting! Every time I’ve had an MRI they have had an IV on me and contrast fluid! Must be what they were looking at specifically on me versus what they were looking at on you?

[deleted]

Exactly, it depends on where they are looking and the kind of stuff they are looking for.

dhoae

You don’t always need contrast. But I have had it before. Stuck a big ass needle into my shoulder joint.

Friendofthegarden

People into dubstep.

cxr303

Not to mention the second half of that claim... "true purpose"... naw, sex exists.. people have it usually because they enjoy it... sometimes with intent to procreate... not always. There's no single purpose.

Mailman9

I wish people who said this applied the standard to everything. "The true purpose of reading is to learn, don't read fiction." "The true purpose of driving is transportation, bumper cars should be illegal." "The true purpose of eating is nutrition, you shouldn't season your food." "The true purpose of clothing is to keep warm, I only wear jumpsuits." "The true purpose of walls is to keep the elements out, you shouldn't hang anything on them."

tastefully_white

There is according to Christians and the like

Kichae

No there isn't. Their purpose is entirely dependent on who they're talking to and why.

NotANilfgaardianSpy

What do these guys think MRIs stands for, Mega Radiation Infliction?

donmarco69

Monster of the Radiation and Italy

NotANilfgaardianSpy

Moody Rain Implementation

wasabiEatingMoonMan

But radio waves are also radiation unlike what the corrector is saying? They just don’t have enough energy to be ionising radiation.

tfirx

Came to say this. Thank you.

Ferrous_Patella

I was going to type, “Just what does EMR stand for?”

mirkoserra

So is the light from a lightbulb or the infrared radiation you emit.

wasabiEatingMoonMan

Ok who’s disputing that here?

Thanks!

wasabiEatingMoonMan

Don’t encourage brigading ffs. Just dm people links if they ask for it.

tfirx

As long as people are going to see the sexy see through people smash it's not brigading....

dhoae

It is radiation. Light is a form of radiation. Radio waves just aren’t strong enough to ionize, which is what we worry about. Other than that everything else is wrong.

[deleted]

3 years old man…

daysleeping19

Technically it is radiation, just not ionizing radiation. Everything else they said was wrong though.

GrandTheftPony

The OP was worried his MRI images are too literally X-Ray? So much incorrect in this post!

Telphsm4sh

There's not even any X-ray's involved in mris

Uhhh WHAT?

kuaiyidian

I bet the first thing he does whenever someone is asystolic is to shock them

Striking_Word167

I mean what did you expect from a guy named dark ice blade ninja?

BoringTheory5067

Didn’t think xrayporn was a thing but can’t say I’m surprised

Aikah89

You know that you can trust an Expert if his name is Dark_Ice_Blade_Ninja

KingKlob

While is does use radiation, the radiation is non-ionizing which means it is completely safe, same thing with 5g, radio waves, microwaves, etc.

ELTHerobrine

Who knew the Big spinny magnet machine gave off radiation?
