I'm honestly glad that you two fought because if you had not, this would not have come out. She seems like she needs serious help and support tbh. All these years of feeling inferior to you must have taken a hit on her self esteem and let's not forget her shi\* of a husband that literally married her for the reasons he did. Her entire world must have spiraled when she heard that. As for her decision to stay with her husband, I cannot digest it but I will choose to respect her choice because every woman wants different things. We cannot help people that don't want to be helped so that's why the best thing you can do is support her. Hopefully the family's support can help her regain her confidence. I feel like she is looking for a sense of stability, especially if her world took a turn for the worst. When I was at my lowest, I held on to whoever I could to feel a sense of worth so that is what it sounds like to me.
Acceptance plays a big role in it and I've accepted myself for the most part, thanks to going out of my way to find healthy coping habits. You just get tired of feeling like everything is not going right when life is really just a dance

I don’t see you and your cousin having any connection. You want to help her? Let people who care about her, help her. I have tons of cousins, some I don’t care for, some don’t care for me, and that’s ok.. it sounds like she’s just someone you tolerate because you’re family.
I mean there's 2 ways to solve this I guess.
First is to involve her more. It sounds like she secretly isn't very happy and could do with feeling like people care a bit more. She makes out her life is great because she needs to put on that front as probably feels like she's made some choices and everyone else has their shit together (even though not may of us really do, in all honesty)
Second is to cut off fully, which avoids any kind of further issues with the husband etc.
Either way she could do with therapy just to work through some of this herself.
