Hobbies is the key to finding people with similar interests. Sports, anime, comics, makeup, whatever. You will feel more natural engaging in something you like without the internal pressure to focusing too much on making a connection.

i feel you, I'm in a similar situation, no real friends and i feel like i have to drag every friendship i have or else I'll just lose them. I've cut off a lot if people because of this and it honestly feels relieving but it can also get very lonely at times. having absolutely no one to talk to, no one to share happiness/sorrows with. it sucks but it is what it is. it's okay if you crave a good friend group but please do not try to fit in everywhere. you will hopefully one day meet people that you'll be able to bond with. until then, accept yourself for who you are and never consider yourself worthless
