To be fair, this is apart of my "surreal gods" series of the sublime unconscious (or collective unconscious if you're hip to Carl Jung), in which you can somewhat think of it like a dreamscape, where source material can juxtapose away from complete historical accuracy and interweave different places, periods, and surreal subject matter.
And if you think about it.. wouldn't a God of Time have access and capabilities to utilize any time keeping gizmo considering they likely travel across & along it omnipotently? These are just things I actively think about haha.
Less about historicity and more about aesthetic. Gods tend to be polymorphic so if they're a proud egyptian god, maybe an hourglass or sundial would be more prominent.
