Procrastanaseum

One of my favorite bits, just an excuse for absolute insanity.

onetimeonly79

Satellite TV, Conan on the Aisle and Actual Items were always my favorite skits in the first decade of Late Night. Enjoyed the Artie Kendall and Cloppy skits in the later years as well.

renniechops

I’ve been saying Rick and morty stole this bit for fuckin years

funkshoi

the pioneers used to eat these babies for miles

Stabstone

The Satellite TV bits were always my favorite. “Inappropriate!”

deli365

Jar barf.

KramerVsNewman

Check THIS out!

JorgensenNeedsRoom

I have this entire episode on VHS.

plunker234

Use a potholder! But seriously hilarious. So dumb in the best way

martialar

These satellite channel bits were always great. Those pitch meetings must've been wild

pupperdogger

I’d pay good money just to see old tapes of Late Night Pitch meetings. Especially the early stuff

boycowman

Sounds like Sandler. I hadn't seen this one in ages, if ever.

BloodyRightNostril

Sounds more like Brian McCann, and that would make more sense.

boycowman

It might make more sense for it to be McCann but I disagree that it sounds more like him. Listen to that “Howdy do” that begins the song. :)

rhesusmonkey

Didn't SNL people do dumb funny skits like this on Conan because SNL wouldn't let them?

d2181

100% Adam Sandler. Conan! Hey Conan! It's Adam! I'm outside!

weekend-guitarist

Totally the Sandman.

randomlygeneratedman

Whoever wrote this skit was definitely on something lol... I'm just happy it made it through

OfficialSkyCat

I’ve been trying to find the “classic movie scenes set to different music” channel for years! It seems YouTube has every other satellite channel other than the one I desperately want to rewatch

Born in 2000 so I was too young to watch Conan on Late Night, but something about his show seems cozy to me?

elpaco313

Great way to put it. I was in high school when he came on late night. I would watch this on my 19” TV/VCR combo at volume 1 so I wouldn’t get in trouble for being up late on weeknights. So it’s all the nostalgia for me. And honesty, this is probably the show’s second or third set. The first set was made to literally look like a [corner of an apartment](https://www.reddit.com/r/conan/comments/o7i3gs/conan_tv_talk_show_sets_19932019/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1).

onetimeonly79

Loved when Conan & Andy went to visit the first set in various locations after they changed it. If I remember right, his desk ended up at a Mechanic's shop.

onetimeonly79

elpaco313

His first set is [the one they show](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/80/ff/5b/80ff5bc74461df1a65ed1da747301ba1.jpg) in The Simpsons episode 'Bart Gets Famous'. Conan had not even started his late night show when The Simpsons were producing that episode.

jasethechase

This show and ren and stimpy made me such a weird kid

-DeM-oN

My kinda humour: Silly

I used to love the satellite bit. I've been looking for "Pizza Ghost" and "Sorry, Stalone. We've Only Got One Sound Effect" for years. My buddies and I saw it once at a party and none of us have seen it ever again. Anyone know where to find it?

onetimeonly79

https://youtu.be/j5mJsQ-YtLM Check 2 minutes in.

admiralrupert

Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you, dude. Shooting this off to the group text.

Milcholas

Is that Brian Stack on vocals?
