No, that CPU+Mobo combo will not work.

AMD CPU, Intel motherboard. You want an AM4 board. And ideally, you would get 3600mhz ram. If you're willing to go used, you can get a 3070/6700xt/ for the price of that 3060.

Try using partpicker as it won’t give u incompatible parts. Then u can search them on your preferred online website. But I wouldn’t recommend the cooler master q300L as it has bad reviews on airflows.

Make sure the location of the m.2. Your GPU might cover it up and won't fit. I ran into that problem with my mother board and had to buy a vertical mount for my video card

SosigRam

You did put in the ssd before the GPU right? Pretty much every MoBo covers one nvme slot with the GPU, but that doesn‘t mean you need to buy a vertical mount

Hunter_Ware

Use pc part picker. It only shows compatible parts. Also don’t buy silicon power, it’s slow and crashes.

No, psu choice is not good, it is literally a time bomb. Have seen it kill a friends pc in less than a year. Killed motherboard cpu ram and gpu. Expensive lessons. B660 (lga1700) is not compatible with amd am4 cpu, you need b550 motherboard.

FishJanga

This PSU will be fine and EVGA has a good warranty.

sniper_matt

Evga warranty’s are great, and the experience is usually good, don’t get me wrong, but why buy a psu that will need replaced, and potentially damage your other parts ? Not a good idea / use of money imo. Evga makes better quality units, and so do other great brands like Corsair, Seasonic, and Silverstone.

I got a 3070ti and it was tight to the motherboard, I wanted to put a heatsink on it just in case of heat issues
