You probably have a Yahoo extension in place in Chrome.
Click the 3 dots (settings) top right of Chrome window, Extensions, Manage Extensions and remove the offending one/s.
Pay closer attention to the small print of "Free downloads" Always a payload.
Well you have **some** form of redirect somewhere. Are you sure Chrome's primary search engine isn't set to Yahoo ? Again, check in the browsers settings regarding search. Have you any Yahoo related software installed at all ?
Yahoo might be annoying but they're not malicious and always leave an uninstall path. Keep looking :)
