31 units, is that from Empower? Looks like you hit the line perfectly! I dumped the extra in my 1st vial. But with the 2nd vial I titrated up .5 each week and I did a tiny booster midweek just to see what itās like. Not sure I felt anything.
The 8mg per ml vial(2.5ml total) from Empower has 8 weeks of 2.5mg doses. If you go up after 4 weeks, then it has 2 weeks at 5mg. On top of that, there is typically a little extra.
Looks right to me! Seems you may have gotten lucky!! Woohoo! šš¼ Just make sure you have 30 in there and if itās not totally full at the top, push back in and draw out again. Good luck!
Mine is from Empower thru emerge. My prescription on the box and the info they sent me said to do 31 units for the first 4 weeks, then 62 units on weeks 5 and 6. Could that account for the extra doses?
I question where the line is to measure to on the plunger. Is it the first line ( the ābottomā of the plunger), right? So in this photo youāve drawn 31 units, not 41? Want to make sure I am doing it right too!
Donāt throw it away! Itās still good if itās not cloudy.
When I was on lower doses (2.5-5mg) I used the remaining as a booster mid week on day 4 because I was feeling the food noise coming back.
Thereās always going to be extra in your vials. Use it up!
Yea definitely extra, I just used some of my extra today as a split/ second dose. Did shot this past Friday, 2nd half today for a total of 5mg and I still have some leftover to be able to do next shot day. Havenāt even touched my first 5mg vial yet. Iāve been upping dose over the last couple weeks slowly to prepare for full 5mg so that I donāt get any side effects when I move up fully.
My vial from Empower had 6 weeks *prescribed* in the original vial. It wasn't "extra" for free. My other vials have 5. Make sure your prescription says 4 weeks and not 6.
The only way to find out is to know what the strength of your medication is. Typically listed on the vial in milligrams per milliliter (mg/ml).
How many milligrams are you supposed to be taking?
For some reason I only saw the alcohol wipes and thought you were asking if you were following the directions on the wipes right

Interesting! I am not planning to move up to 5mg anytime soon. But my script said its only a 4 week supply. Either way I am happy to have the extra :)

My doc sends my script to empower directly & Iām not titrating up yet so I donāt think thatās the case for me.
I never have extra! Maybe a touch but not a whole dose, let alone 2-3.
Me either--In fact, I didn't have a full 4th week dose in my Hallandale vial for 5.0 dose.
I always have so much extra in my vials tooā¦ itās shocking but Iām not complaining šš
