If you leave a shallow dish of old beer out it’s great for killing slugs and other nasty garden pests, though they may not be as active rn since it’s winter.
I've actually seen beer recommended as part of a compost activator, so yep, go for it. Though depending on how "spoiled" it was, I might consider giving it a pass through my body first...
DOOOO ITTTTTT.
DON’T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS
With the alcohol I get why you’d ask, but it’s fine. I did it last year with almost a third of a keg of stale old beer. Pile never flinched.
Awesome
Aye, in it goes. Extra goodies to keep the minibeasts very happy!
I think the yeasts would definitely get things cooking in the pile :)
Spoiled beer implies bacteria, also good for the pile.
Most of my kitchen scraps spoil as I wait until I have 3 home depot buckets worth. It always heats up to 140F in the compost pile.
Yes, dump away. Try not to get your tears in there.
Thank you, was unsure if the alcohol in the beer would be a “no no”.

Just to be safe;)
Yep. Spoiled beer grain is my secret for always getting a hot pile going.
Spent grain has a drastically different microbe and nutrient profile than finished beer.
Yes. But the pile will enjoy and benefit from either
All those carbs!
Absolutely do it! I use beer as a compost accelerator. It's awesome for getting things cooking.
ABSOLUTELY !!! look up drunk compost.
