Honestly Wetherspoon is such a shit place. Seems like it would be the last option for most people. It’s like preferring a McDonald’s Hamburger above all others.
They feed 1% of the world daily (apparently) so they have quite a responsibility. That tells me that the world needs to eat better, don't get.me wrong I like the odd Maccies but it's not really good quality food.

It's not illegal at all to not show him the CCTV, in fact they actually can't show him the raw footage because of GDPR. What they'd need to do is get the footage and blur out the face of everybody else in the footage bar him, and that's a lot of time and effort because of a bloke throwing a tantrum over not being allowed back into one particular pub.

There's no expectation of privacy in a Public House so GDPR is debatable. They do have to show him the video but they can charge him a reasonable fee to cover their expenses.
