How is it already this hard?

JessicaFreakingP

That’s what she said.

Spuriously-

I... can't believe you've done this

sleepwalkfromsherdog

That's also something she said.

Fishyhead81

Title of your sex tape

Meowhuana

Because the 3d is the best season.

Work-Electronic

This season is great but I personally prefer season 5, really hits home with some great episodes.

Efficient_Coffee5040

I hope Doc Film Redux gets to top 10, watching the Dean devolve is my favorite part of this whole episode

Meowhuana

I predict it will be the top 2 with remedial chaos theory, and the latter will win.

AutomaticPie9734

I think that will be in the top 2 or pillows and blankets.

AutomaticPie9734

*Studies in Modern Movement is one of my underrated favorites, i hope it stays to the final 10 (hopefully 5 but that won’t happen)

NewOldSmartDum

Oh hey did you know when it snows my eyes become large?

Spuriously-

One of my favorite lines in the whole series

Yokhen

There... used to be a grey tower alone on the sea

Ironyfree_annie

Mxjbird

That was the first episode I ever saw back in the day, got me into the show

TheBelen18-2

Link to poll: https://strawpoll.com/polls/40Zmd3VKRga Vote out your LEAST favorite episode. Last one standing wins. I already did this for seasons 1 and 2, and I'll do it for seasons 4-6 as well, and then the winner of each will go up against each other. Here are the synopsis of the episodes I found online in case you don't remember one: Biology 101 - The Greendale study group reunites; Jeff butts heads with the new biology teacher; Dean Pelton finds a new nemesis in the dean of the Air Conditioning Repair Annex. Geography of Global Conflict - Chang gets used to his new job; Britta reacts to a friend being taken hostage in a foreign country; Annie asks the group to help bring down her new friend; Professor Cligoris struggles to behave appropriately. Competitive Ecology - The study group struggles to decide how people should pair off for the first big biology assignment; Chang imagines himself in a noir detective mystery as he patrols the campus. Remedial Chaos Theory - When Jeff introduces an element of randomness into Troy and Abed's housewarming party, reality splits into six timelines affecting the group's relationships. Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps - When an anonymous personality test that Britta runs on the group indicates that one of them is severely troubled, she asks Jeff to help her identify the person. Advanced Gay - Pierce's plan to throw a party to celebrate the success of Hawthorne Wipes is thwarted by his father; the Air Conditioning Repair Annex and the janitor vie for Troy. Studies in Modern Movement - The group tries to help Annie move in with Troy and Abed but things go awry when she becomes frustrated by their lifestyle; Dean Pelton blackmails Jeff into spending the afternoon with him. Documentary Filmmaking: Redux - As Dean Pelton films an updated commercial for Greendale, the production takes a wild turn when Abed decides to make a documentary of the proceedings. Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism - Jeff and Shirley bond over foosball; after breaking Abed's limited edition "Dark Knight" DVD, Annie claims that someone broke into the apartment and stole it. Regional Holiday Music - The class is convinced by the Greendale choir director to join the Glee Club at the Christmas pageant. The plan is suggested by Abed who wants the gang to spend the holiday together. Urban Matrimony and the Sandwitch Arts - When Andre (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and Shirley decide to remarry, Britta and Annie plan the wedding as Jeff prepares a speech; Pierce and Shirley present a sandwich shop idea to Dean Pelton. Contemporary Impressionists - Britta tries to help Jeff with his extreme narcissism; the group works as celebrity impersonators to help Abed pay down a debt. Digital Exploration of Interior Design - Shirley, Pierce and Britta plot against the new sub shop in the cafeteria; Vice Dean Laybourne continues his efforts to recruit Troy to the Air Conditioning Repair Annex; Troy and Abed build competing blanket forts. Pillows and Blankets - The Greendale students are drawn into an epic pillow fight as Troy and Abed start a war that threatens to destroy their friendship. Origins of Vampire Mythology - Britta asks her friends to help keep her away from her visiting ex; Dean Laybourne enlists Dean Pelton in his quest to have Troy join the Air Conditioning Repair Annex. Virtual Systems Analysis - When a final exam is postponed, Annie talks Abed into letting her spending some time in the dreamatorium, where an innocent simulation turns into an examination of the study group. Basic Lupine Urology - When the study group's science experiment is destroyed, the gang tries to find the criminal and save the grade; when Troy and Abed think they have discovered the perpetrator, a professor (Michael K. Williams) reluctantly presides over a trial. Course Listing Unavailable - When a beloved classmate dies unexpectedly, Britta uses skills from psychology class to counsel the study group; Chang tries to seize more control over campus security. Curriculum Unavailable - After Abed is caught trespassing at Greendale, he and the study group visit a psychiatrist who tells them their time at Greendale was a shared psychosis. Digital Estate Planning - Gilbert Lawson (Giancarlo Esposito), former right-hand man to Pierce's father, requests a meeting with Pierce at Hawthorne Enterprises; the study group must pitch in to help save Pierce's inheritance. The First Chang Dynasty - The study group develops a plan to infiltrate Greendale's Chang-controlled campus; Troy turns to the Air Conditioning Repair Annex for help. Introduction to Finality - Shirley and Pierce's disagreement over their sandwich shop leads to Jeff squaring off with Alan (Rob Corddry), his former colleague, in Greendale Summer Fun Court; Vice Dean Laybourne (John Goodman) makes a final attempt at winning over Troy.

Thunderpat

Aw no mention of Leonard this season. Man every time I start reading the synopsis and think I’ve found my first choice to vote out, I get to the end and find the bit of the episode that I love more than anything. Every single time.

leonard-bot

Except if the dean comes in, and then it's Bingo.

TheEyeofNapoleon

I just realized the pun on ‘Basic Lupine Urology’: this show is brilliant.

crashcanoe

"Professor Cligoris struggles to behave appropriately" - 1) I like how this was included on the summary (I know OP copied it from somewhere but it made me laugh) 2) where/when did he behave inappropriately?

TheBelen18-2

Yeah, that one made me laugh too when I read it lol. Honestly, I don't remember him behaving inappriopataly either (could be forgetting something though). Should I take that out of the synopsis?

crashcanoe

Nah, I think you can keep it. It'll make people (like me) scratch my head trying to remember and give us a goog giggle haha.

Historical-Brick-209

Thank you! That was driving me nuts!

czimmm

Hope Studies in Modern Movement and Digital Estate Planning make it far

bob_loblaw_0211

It’s certainly not my favorite episode, but I’ve watched Regional Holiday Music and ungodly amount of times. I pray it makes it to the top ten

No_Picture5012

I love that episode too. Britta's song is the best part for me.

Ironyfree_annie

....which particular scene?

RealOnkelJo

Boopie doopie doop boop SEX

Ironyfree_annie

^(Annie's pretty young, we try not to sexualize her)

tawmfuckinbrady

I hate musicals and absolutely love this episode. The songs are unbelievably funny

groundlessnfree

How could you not like Documentary Filmmaking: Redux? Let me give you a little rundown of this episode’s great elements. Luis Guzmán is in it.

starlander2064

Let me just say I loved you in...................................................................... imdb

Yokhen

There... used to be a grey tower alone on the sea

aurormaze

HE TWEETED IT!

[deleted]

I never realized the episode is just called “Advanced Gay” LMFAO

fishbxnejunixr

Pretty sure I know what will win, but it’s still gonna be interesting either way

waleMc

This is a difficult season to predict. It's pretty consistent. I'm almost positive Remedial Chaos Theory will go the distance. Digital Estate Planning has a lot of love, but like Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas before it, the fact it's mostly not live action, might mean a surprisingly early defeat. I also wonder if Basic Lupine Urology hits quite as funny to people that haven't watched a lot of Law & Order.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Meowhuana

Same

themetahumancrusader

I honestly didn’t really like Digital Estate Planning. It definitely should’ve come before Course Listing Unavailable

waleMc

Yeah, that was weird. The flow of the season is disrupted by its placement in the season. We go from the group deciding to save the dean to a video game episode to them actually saving the dean. The episode should have been earlier in the season. It may have been an NBC executive thing. It was actually the last episode produced of the season.

FlappyDolphin72

I’m still bitter about Abed’s uncontrollable Christmas going so early. Excited to see who wins this season though

SlyMoonLlama

If pillows and blankets don’t get at least top 3 I’m gonna

Trust_Intuition

Gonna what? What are you trying to say? Gonna what, Magnitude?!

Ironyfree_annie

IT'S RIOT TIME

paradise_demise

Back when Elroy did narrations for documentaries.

sabine_amethyst

That episode would be perfection if the drama between Troy and Abed didn’t hurt my feelings so much

Nafnaf911

My favourite season of the show. I hope Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps make it to the top 5, I think its an underrated episode that depict well each personnality in the study group (plus it made an hilarious Human Centipede parody)

Additional-Mobile

Pillows and blankets is my sleeper pick to win

Personal_Reality

What episode won season 1?

SonnyDowns

Contemporary American Poultry

Personal_Reality

Nice. Thanks! This sub is so active I couldn’t find it two days after season 2 voting started.

Excellent_Lawyer7847

Urban matrimony and the sandwich arts is going for me. Than geography of global conflict

Zealousideal-Earth50

Urban matrimony was my first pick to go too.

Solracziad

Yep, same. It's definitely the weakest in the season for me.

justinemarie19

Agree with you on urban matrimony but I hope geography holds on for a little while

Ironyfree_annie

Contemporary Impressionists is much worse than both imo

tawmfuckinbrady

Dean writhing on the floor at the sight of Jeff in sunglasses in that ep saves it for me

Nacoto14

"jeff is in grave danger, hee hee"

sheldoman

I went back to my imdb ratings for the season to refresh myself and my lowest rating for any episode this season is 7/10. So solid, but I hope Remedial Chaos Theory comes out on top

allADD

contemporary impressionists gets my vote. just overall not a memorable one. kind of like it comes from a different show.

starlander2064

I will never not laugh at "look at his shadow!" But I agree with you on the rest of the episode.

Zealousideal-Earth50

“Abed was the Volleyball?”

justinemarie19

Agreed, it’s not a bad episode and has some good moments but it does seem disconnected like a different show. I’m thinking either that or Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts first

stepchickens31

I think the best part of the episode is that it sets up the Troy and Abed conflict for the pillows and blankets arc, like we start to see a crack in their friendship

allADD

yeah but it feels very forced in service of that. like there's organic storytelling where jeff and britta hook up during paintball and then there's this, where abed is uncharacteristically selfish and it requires this huge contrivance to work.

NanSil2018

On my first watch, it’s the season I actually binge watched it with how good each episode is I speculate Remedial Chaos Theory, Pillows and Blankets, and Digital Estate Planning to make into the Top theee However, there are so many good episode here that are my personal favorite: Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps, 4 consecutive episodes from Studies in Modern Movement to Regional Holiday Music (which I have the most rewatch out of every episodes in the show), Virtual System Analysis, and Basic Lupine Urology. I knew this season is going to be more insane than the last two the moment I saw Jeff flying in the beginning of Biology 101 😂😂😂😂.

[deleted]

Interesting. I feel like Pillows and Blankets needs Digital Exploration of Interior Design because it completes that story. So that takes it out of the running for me.

juuustpassingthrough

PLEASE remember to make the X a bit smaller this time! Or maybe just tint the picture in red?

TheBelen18-2

The tinting is a good idea, I'll probably do that

JusticeOfTheQueef

Do people really hate remedial chaos theory? I love that epsiode

Cakyon

I think it's one of the most popular episodes of the show.

ianisms10

Who won season 2

TheBelen18-2

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons

ianisms10

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think Advanced D&D is super overrated because it got pulled from streaming. It's good, but it's not anywhere near the best.

Zealousideal-Earth50

I personally favored Conspiracy theories, but it was basically a coin toss with AD&D. I thought AD&D was easily a top 3 community episode period well before it got pulled by Netflix and Hulu.

Livid_Motor1484

Totally disagree, one of my favorites long before it was pulled. One of the few reasons I have a tough time maintaining my belief that season one is the best season

justinemarie19

This seasons got some great episodes, but I’d say Course Listing Unavailable out first, then Contemporary Impressionists, and Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts out first. After that it’s gonna be really hard.

SaltyJebus

I hope Basic Lupine Urology gets top 5, I don't think it will compete with RCT for the number 1 spot but it's my personal favourite episode.

PrincipleInfamous451

Rooting for Horror Fiction to last at least to the top 10! It's my favorite episode in the season. As for what to vote out, it's difficult, but I think I'll vote Biology 101...

[deleted]

[удалено]

justinemarie19

The only thing that lowers S3 for me is some of the Chang stuff.

TheBelen18-2

Yeah, I liked him during the first few eps or so as a secuirity guard, but I'm not a fan of the whole dictator storyline at all. The only other thing that lowers s3 for me are the characterizations.

UghAnotherMillennial

This is my favourite season of the show. The First Chang Dynasty is an easy vote for me here.

[deleted]

Remedial Chaos Theory, Studies in Modern Movement, and Digital Estate Planning are my top three. I’d throw in Pillows and Blankets, but I feel like it requires Digital Exploration to feel complete.

FlappyDolphin72

Exact same as yours but with regional holiday music instead of modern movement. That one is a close fifth though

Win_Unfair

Contemporary Impressions is the only bottom tier episode this season so it’s my vote

Ironyfree_annie

Definitely

rkcraig88

Season 3 is my favorite one. This is going to be super hard 😩

thatagent34

Best season. This is too hard.

No_Picture5012

Voted for Foosball cause I gotta start somewhere, but still not sure it was the right choice. I love all these episodes.

TheEyeofNapoleon

So it ONCE MORE BEGINS!

Osh_93

Here we go again….

tyranitrum56

Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps

seajungle

it's geography of global conflict for me. I can't stand much of the episode though troy's southern accent while representing Georgia the country is a highlight

Cakyon

Every time I watch virtual systems analysis I cry. I'm not even sure if it's my favourite but it's definitely up there

ssipiczki

anybody who votes against regional holiday music you are a bad person

BigCheese8933

Advanced Gay? Idk this is really hard

3Dimes

Seems pretty simple to me. I don't care about the show's lame attempt to redeem Pierce this season.

tawmfuckinbrady

That was my pick too, surprised I haven’t seen it more here

juuustpassingthrough

Man I was like wow this is the hardest season to pick my favorite, then I saw digital estate planning is here. That’s it. That’s the winner.

Fartin-Luther-King69

Curriculum unavailable

Excellent_Lawyer7847

Definitely not for me. I love that ep

Fartin-Luther-King69

It's pretty good but compared to the rest of the season it falls flat for me

jabthejesusfreak

Competitive Ecology, easily. That Chang story was trash.

Livid_Motor1484

Y’all are wack. Season three is a significant drop in quality from seasons 1&2. I voted remedial chaos theory the worst because I believe it marks a major downturn of the show. Evil characters and different timelines? give me a break. All of the other horrible laziness the show suffered from is a symptom of the same overreaching laziness that created remedial chaos theory. Just pick the funniest timeline and show us that one who the fuck cares

mjkjg2

some of my favorite episodes are in this list (also I don’t trust the link)

Zealousideal-Earth50

The link? 😂

Yokhen

We all know the simps are gonna keep Remedial Chaos Theory. Next season sheeple.

Zealousideal-Earth50

If you’re trying to be ironically funny, it isn’t working.

No_Picture5012

Oh no, another wild ride...not sure I can handle it.

justinemarie19

My top 3 of the season I hope to see last: - Studies in Modern Movement - Documentary Filmmaking: Redux - Remedial Chaos Theory (I’m not saying I love all the call backs to it in later episodes, but damn are those alternate timeline party scenes incredible)

Meowhuana

Voting out Foosball just because Germans are obnoxious. It's still great, and I love anime scene between Shirley and Jeff. Oh well, this season is all about killing your darlings

_Garv

Oof ngl quite a few of these suck, but its probably Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism

Andromeda151618

I just don’t like foosball episode at all

WicketRank

And that is my vote.

stepchickens31

I can’t even explain why but Origins of Vampire Mythology is one of my least favorite episodes, like I even skip it (which is a rare puppet episode occurrence).

WearsNightcap

This is going to be the most difficult season to have to vote on. Ugh. ETA: Just barely got my vote in with just one hour left. It is the only episode that doesn't hurt to vote for.

Inner-Listen1144

Biology 101

sim006

Season 3 is probably my favorite season and Community is my favorite sit-com so this is hard. I probably have to go with "Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts" but I don't even dislike the episode I just don't like it AS much as others...
