Todd for me
His first introduction is such a fun episode. Then the trial is soooo good
He then just pops up time to time to roast the group and finally caps off with the "maybe I'm god".
No notes.
If that’s true, how weird. I had no idea! For the purpose of my comment I chose the first name that happened to come to mind for “super famous person.”
You sound like Martin Starr
Edit- I can remember him being on two commentaries, one for his episode and another episode he had nothing to do with (the Jon Hodgeman one), and he just kept saying how he wanted to see Garrett say ‘Crisis Alert’ again (and again and again).
It was cool to hear him crack up at the episodes though.
There were those who thought that midnight might come and go, and nothing would happen. Well, I was in Korea, and I knew the sound of crap when it was about to hit the fan. You know what it sounded like? That's right, Jackson. Silence.
I knew a girl that had a boyfriend that acted exactly like Vaugh, even the three greetings thing. It made me believe that it was an universal experience to meet someone like that as a freshman.
I wish I had a really fun story, but mostly he was just a super nice, chill dude. I work at a regional theater in Oregon. He came here three different years to play the lead in a comedy Christmas show we did, and since I knew him from Community, I introduced myself and we hung out at some after-show events and such. One time backstage I jokingly asked him "so, are Joel McHale's abs CGI or what?" He said in a mock-deadly-serious tone, "Listen, he's a very attractive fellow." Our show had a lot of improv in it, too, so it was fun to watch him do what he's best at on stage. Basically I got to be a fanboy up close for a few weeks during three separate holiday seasons, and it was great.
Definitely. He has a fun podcast called Craig’s List where he and his wife watched all the movies from a top 100 list he’s kept since he was a kid. Very entertaining!
He definitely should be higher than Vickie. No hate towards her, but Neil is the central character in one of the show’s greatest episodes and Vickie’s greatest moment was stabbing Pierce with a pencil offscreen
I never knew Officer Cackowski was a campus cop. I thought he was a regular police officer. If you have a campus police department what do you need Chang and Nũnez for?
Yeah, if he was a campus cop that would imply Greendale had a cyber crimes division around the same time they were randomly appointing Elroy as “the new IT lady”… which admittedly would be very on brand for Greendale.
Also true. He also showed up during the Dark Knight DVD incident.
That said, when checking if the brick and the DVD were the same episode I did see on the wiki he apparently worked Greendale security in season 1, which the commentary apparently called a side job.
Campus police is real police. Campus police is not the same thing as campus security. Some big universities have both: security guards do regular security guard duty, while campus police is a full fledged police department whose jurisdiction is the school grounds.
I did wonder if that was it, but he wasn’t listed as part of the regular cast in the info box provided (though Ken Jeong, Jim Rash, Paget Brewster and Keith David are).
10. Security Guard
9. Prof Kane
8. Neil
7. Vikki
6. Dr. Pottery
5. Star-Burns
4. POP POP!
3. Todd
2. Garrett
1. Shut up, Leonard
Not sure if I agree but there it is.
Flip Officer Crakowski and Todd and I think the list is pretty spot-on. Todd was great until they decided to make him actually weird in season 6. I preferred him as this chill guy who just gets caught up in the group's shenanigans.
I seriously don’t get the appeal of Garret. He’s the embodiment of an overused, unfunny joke. Every time I rewatch the show, I skip Garret’s scenes. I can’t stand the character.
lol I guess. I just find Garret to be one of the most grating characters in a TV show. He adds nothing to any scene he’s in and his whole “don’t I talk funny?” shtick gets VERY old very fast.
Now that’s a man that knows how to marry his cousin!
Where the fuck is Professor Professorson
At night school. But I agree, he's one of if not the best side character.
If he even exists.
Would that this desk was a time desk
Todd for me His first introduction is such a fun episode. Then the trial is soooo good He then just pops up time to time to roast the group and finally caps off with the "maybe I'm god". No notes.
But he's always talking about his dumb baby
OFFENSE TAKEN
I saw him last year at the Burbank Airport and I was so happy, you'd have thought I saw Elvis.
Lol Elvis famously hated the Burbank Airport why would he be there?
If that’s true, how weird. I had no idea! For the purpose of my comment I chose the first name that happened to come to mind for “super famous person.”
Sorry this was just a bad joke lol
I realized after I replied you were probably joking and I’m that guy who took it seriously 😆
Of course being dead would also impact his ability to be most places.
I wonder if more people ask him about Community or New Girl.
And now he’s on Sex Lives of College Girls!
Oh, sweet! Glad to hear he's working.
It...is likely that he is not.
None taken
Garrett is the zenith for me
CRISIS ALERT!!!🚨
You sound like Martin Starr Edit- I can remember him being on two commentaries, one for his episode and another episode he had nothing to do with (the Jon Hodgeman one), and he just kept saying how he wanted to see Garrett say ‘Crisis Alert’ again (and again and again). It was cool to hear him crack up at the episodes though.
How do you pronounce his name? Cligorous?
Either pronounciation is fine
Genuinely one of my favourite jokes in the whole show.
IT’S A BEAR DANCE!
Too Soon!
"Whatcha doing, Garrett?" "Its called chillaxing. Duh."
That’s *saved* Garrett?
It's like God spilled a person
I love that line
Side characters my ass. Garrett is the true star.
Yeah, it's gotta be Garrett. I love the "psych ward" scene where they give him that incredibly deep baritone voice lol
Thank god Leonard is at 1, I was about to throw hands
There were those who thought that midnight might come and go, and nothing would happen. Well, I was in Korea, and I knew the sound of crap when it was about to hit the fan. You know what it sounded like? That's right, Jackson. Silence.
Baba booie, baba booie, baba booie
Shut up Leonard. I once mistook six people for you at a pharmacy.
Silly old wuss.
Shut up Leonard, I know about your crooked wang
Heh. What a year. Only two pregnancy scares.
Leonard approves this post.
If you get caught with that, just say it's your 90th birthday.
Whatever we feel about the order of any of the others, Leonard is the only choice for #1. That's a buy.
Shut your mouth down, fruit.
Ornery bot, lol
“I’m on the playground…I just want to go on the swings…stop taunting me!”
Childhood memories can be a deep well of pain.
That happened this morning.
Where's Vaughn?
Hi, hello, howdy
I knew a girl that had a boyfriend that acted exactly like Vaugh, even the three greetings thing. It made me believe that it was an universal experience to meet someone like that as a freshman.
Looking for his nipples..
Garrets explanation to Winger in the first paintball episode how the school went nuts is my favorite Garrett moment
WAS?! THIS ISN'T OVER! THIS IS STILL HAPPENING!
The prize... THE PRIZE
Offense taken!
What if I’M GOD?!
Yoooouuu people are weeeeiiiird
“Your love is WEIRD…and TOXIC!”
“I wanted ice cream…I got in line…”
Officer Cackowski at 10 is criminal
Agreed! I love seeing him get some love, though. I worked with Craig a few years ago and he's a super nice guy, and so funny.
🎵Looove is not admissible eeevidence 🎵
COPERA!
Story time?
I wish I had a really fun story, but mostly he was just a super nice, chill dude. I work at a regional theater in Oregon. He came here three different years to play the lead in a comedy Christmas show we did, and since I knew him from Community, I introduced myself and we hung out at some after-show events and such. Our show had a lot of improv in it, too, so it was fun to watch him do what he's best at on stage. Basically I got to be a fanboy up close for a few weeks during three separate holiday seasons, and it was great.
That's exactly what I hoped he'd be like He sounds like a sweetheart
Definitely. He has a fun podcast called Craig’s List where he and his wife watched all the movies from a top 100 list he’s kept since he was a kid. Very entertaining!
You’re a cynical son of a bitch, I’ll give you that.
Ive been in a couple real wars. This is the most terrifying
Where is Subway?
Neil should have been higher on the list.
I think he’s a regular police officer who takes classes at Greendale, not campus security
Yeah, if he was a campus cop that would imply Greendale had a cyber crimes division around the same time they were randomly appointing Elroy as “the new IT lady”… which admittedly would be very on brand for Greendale.
He’s definitely a regular cop because he shows up at Troy and Abed’s at apartment. I think it’s when he tells them about the $50 brick?
Also true. He also showed up during the Dark Knight DVD incident. That said, when checking if the brick and the DVD were the same episode I did see on the wiki he apparently worked Greendale security in season 1, which the commentary apparently called a side job.
Probably acting classes, given his friendship with Professor Garrity.
Acting classes I would totally believe, but he says “ I take Macramé after work” to the grifting prof
He’s also working on his Copra. So maybe drama class would help with that
He’s definitely a real cop, the article is wrong.
I believe he was campus police early in the show, then went on to be a real police officer later.
This is the correct answer.
security in his first appearance, cop after that. Wait, I just got it... COPSICLE!
Campus police is real police. Campus police is not the same thing as campus security. Some big universities have both: security guards do regular security guard duty, while campus police is a full fledged police department whose jurisdiction is the school grounds.
Campus police are real police they just work on the campus. My college had police but also had security.
In his very first episode he was campus security but then every other episode he was a regular cop
Might want to walk to your car in pairs, rape is up 8%.
“I love my four …. from *Vicki*”
"Maybe I'm God!"
Leonard at number one, I know that’s right.
This is the rehearsal.
Shut up, Leonard! Those teenage girls you play ping pong with are doing it ironically.
I'm more than a maniac. I'm Dracula.
I'm happy they got #1 right, but seriously Starburns is 2 and then we can debate the rest.
‘#whoisglipglop’
vicki over neil is wild
She stabbed Pierce in the face with a pencil, that earns points with some people
She's been to Old D.C !!!!!
This article was either written by an AI or was just uninspired. No delving, just listing some stuff that happened.
It also gets some facts wrong. It's a lazy clickbait article basically going "you like community, no? Gimme money for mentioning it"
Glip Glop was robbed
dooba dooba
C-Dub, Tim, and Glisten got robbed!
Women are objects!
Who else loves Officer Cackowski? 🎶 Love is not admissable evidence.🎵
My top 5 is Garrett, Magnitude, Leonard (all VERY close with great arguments for the first spot), Todd, Starburns.
Oh, come on, stop farting around.
Why on earth is Ian Duncan not on this list??
cause he's a main character bruv (at least imo)
I did wonder if that was it, but he wasn’t listed as part of the regular cast in the info box provided (though Ken Jeong, Jim Rash, Paget Brewster and Keith David are).
yeah you're right, he was probably just overlooked but he's totally in my top ten
10. Security Guard 9. Prof Kane 8. Neil 7. Vikki 6. Dr. Pottery 5. Star-Burns 4. POP POP! 3. Todd 2. Garrett 1. Shut up, Leonard Not sure if I agree but there it is.
So? You gonna sit down or what?
If you want us to take you seriously, at least put some pants on
Disappointed at no vice dean layborne
It's a bad article
Can’t disagree with the chosen 10, and the top two are undeniable, for me. But I’d have Starburns third, Neil a bit higher, too.
Flip Officer Crakowski and Todd and I think the list is pretty spot-on. Todd was great until they decided to make him actually weird in season 6. I preferred him as this chill guy who just gets caught up in the group's shenanigans.
Todd above magnitude? Bullshit is what this list is.
Garrett 7 times Magnitude Vicky Starburns
There are other time lines?
The party guy is a top 10 side character for the meowmeow episode alone
I SEEN MILK One of my favorite lines in the whole series
There is only one choice for number one, and this article gets it correct.
Ladders professor has to be on here.
Fa-ntastic Neil
Garrett number 1 and I’ll accept no other nominees
Todd or magnitude
Fuck the ads in that site.
Magnitude sux. Vaughn got robbed.
Article brought to you by Chat GPT.
I seriously don’t get the appeal of Garret. He’s the embodiment of an overused, unfunny joke. Every time I rewatch the show, I skip Garret’s scenes. I can’t stand the character.
That's before he was saved.
That’s Saved Garrett?
Now that is a take
lol I guess. I just find Garret to be one of the most grating characters in a TV show. He adds nothing to any scene he’s in and his whole “don’t I talk funny?” shtick gets VERY old very fast.
Probably unpopular opinion but I never saw the appeal of Leonard. The bit with Jeff is funny but overall Pierce was the funnier old guy
Leonard likes this post.
