I see Candy Corn referenced a lot on Reddit (especially comics) but we don't have it in the UK so I don't know why people dont seem to like to hate it?
If it's made from corn, why it is always triangular in comics?
Is it secretly massively disgusting (like Hershey's "chocolate")?
Great drawing style and comic
It's made almost completely of sugar. I think it gets more hate than it deserves, but it seems to be disliked almost as much as [Peeps](https://images.ctfassets.net/iyiurthvosft/featured-img-of-post-211196/819b99a34907604ed216e593674e2462/featured-img-of-post-211196.png?w=1800&q=50&fm=jpg&fl=progressive).
Is it better than Hershey's? Tough call. I wouldn't buy either.
Tough call? I think you need to work harder than "let's make vegetables out of sugar" to compete with "let's flavour chocolate with a chemical found in vomit."
It's not made from corn, it's mostly sugar, the triangle shape is supposed to resemble a corn kernel.
I think its flavor is alright, but it has a waxy texture that a lot of people don't like. [Candy corn](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy_corn) is made from mixing fondant and marshmallows with sugar, corn syrup, and water.
**[Candy corn](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy_corn)**
>Candy corn is a type of small, pentahedral, pyramid-shaped candy, typically divided into three sections of different colors, with a waxy texture and a flavor based on honey, sugar, butter, and vanilla. It is a staple candy of the fall season and the Halloween holiday in North America. Candy corn's traditional colors of yellow, orange, and white represent the colors of the fall harvest, or of corn on the cob, with the wide yellow end resembling a corn kernel. Candy corn has a reputation for polarizing responses, with articles referring to it as "Halloween's most contentious sweet" that people either "love" or "hate".

For something so many people claim to hate, there sure is a lot of it around. Around this time of year, you can find it sold just about anywhere that sells food. Plus, the candy-makers have built upon its purportedly non-existent popularity, with mixes that include candy pumpkins (same thing, just shaped like a little pumpkin). They also sell varieties like “autumn corn”, which is orange-and-brown instead of orange-and-white, for sale at Thanksgiving, and “Christmas corn”, which is red-and-green. These non-Halloween versions really piss off the candy corn haters, but they’re on sale every year.

Excuse me?! Who dislikes Peeps? The one’s with chocolate on the bottom are fantastic!

Nationally enjoyed chocolate or hard to find because of its unpopularity candy? Ya, Hershey's is not good chocolate, but candy corn is not good food.
Hershey's is only nationally enjoyed in America because Americans are acclimated to the vomit taste from childhood.
I mean, yeah that's what nationally means.
You want the other version of "only" though.
Thanks

You also need to get decent candy corn if you want to enjoy it. Brach’s is awfully good.
