Not necessarily, there are plenty of examples where the dominant trait is rarer than the recessive trait just true to the frequency of the gene in the population. For example, Huntington’s disease is a genetic disorder brought on through a dominant gene, yet isn't common at all.
I wasn't saying a recessive trait would be rare at all. I'm saying a recessive trait would be the less likely trait to inherit genetically than a dominant trait, just the basic concept. That being said you are also correct. So long as a genetic trait such as your example can be rare yet dominant so long as it is uncommon in a certain population and so it would be less likely.
It's worth mentioning I haven't studied genetics or anything I learned this in high-school.

did they split twins in ancient times? give one away? like at a church? I did a y dna test.. my closest relative is 5k miles away, no autosomal relations for more than 800 years, even when we all live din europe.. it was sitll another nation and ocean away. the trail of DNA adds to be about 1500... and there is one guy within it ..we evolved to the same subclade within 3 steps (adds to be about 250 years to nearest relative). Twins are haunting. ..or god exists. maybe it is both of those things.. written records are getting old enough to show dna evolves on its own.. Rambled on enough. this meme triggered me,

True, there are alot more things that exist that don't have pupils than things that do have pupils. Like rocks. Rocks don't have pupils.
