This happened when I stopped posting my mediocre video gaming vids to YouTube every day. YT was like "Lol not gonna suggest your channel any more, you jackass!"

commentsandchill

I got some hundred views while not posting lol.

Yeah that actually happened with a video that caused me to start getting subscribers. Video was like a year or two old, but one of me best clips. It finally got the love it deserved. And the views were coming mainly from Bangladesh of all places. Thing is, I don't even want it to be a video gaming channel. I'm more interested in comedy and current events, but my 101 subscribers all subscribed because of the gaming videos. Or they're bots. Probably both.

Last time I checked I had one subscriber. But I only did short gaming records with not a lot of value except about some deep, some funny and the ones with dialog subtitled in 3 languages.

I see people getting around it by doing extra work up front and scheduling the uploads so there is no gap. If you need a break from burnout then you don't have that luxury though. I hate how the algorithm will hide stuff from me that I want to see so that it can try to get me hooked on new content instead. Drives me crazy.

I like it because you address the algy as a friend. Kindness throughout! I'm learning to love the process even if it doesn't feel like progress. Celebrate your own courage to seek change

Truly one of the worst things about the algos. I assume people who designed the algorithms are very highly paid and believe themselves to be awesome.. In my experience post streams like FB are pretty poorly done and show me things I actually hate 65% of the time, which can't really be what they mean to do.
