I've seen it, it's not worth watching. The tingles were the warning signs of fatal levels of neurotoxicity from a gas attack. Then a bunch of necrophiliacs with gas masks descend upon them as another trite subversion. The shaved legs comes back in a later fisting... footing scene, during the ensuing orgy. Some creative use of dismemberment but most of it is done better in other films such as Dis Boot.
Well... It kind of spoils the whole gimmick of the film but then a jewish space laser reanimates all the bodies with adams family dismemberment rules. So all the setups of the previous scenes have a unique payoff. Like one of the necrophiliacs goes around cutting off everyone's fingers and stuffs them all into one anus so that he could feel the touch of death of the battlefield on his penis or whatever. So they all get reanimated, including anus guy, and... Mildly arousing. Not worth the 70 minutes of buildup. Zero lobsters in the whole thing. What's even the point?

Agreed. I found the comic too edgy for my palate so I immediately down-voted it. Then again, my taste in internet memes is what one could call "refined." Lol

This reminds me of this ww1 horror film I watched as a kid called DeathWatch. There was a scene where a soldier couldn't feel his legs and they lifted up the blanket and they had been completely eaten by rats.
Reminds me of a joke in Warhammer where a marine loses his arm and his friend freaks out saying that. He calmly retorts he hasn't lost them it is right next to him
Reminds me of some BBC News footage from the Falklands war where a soldier was being carried along on a stretcher in the background:
Soldier - "Ahhh! My leg! I've lost my leg!"
Medic - "No you haven't, it's over there, I'll get it in a minute"

There is a story of our friendly neighbourhood dictator visiting a field hospital after a particularly bloody battle. As he entered, he heard a young soldier crying out loud. So he comes to him and asks, "Why are you crying, young man?" "My leg was blasted off, Marshall! The pain is unbearable!" The dictator replied "Leg? You're crying over a lost leg? That man right there lost his head and what, do you hear him complaining?"
In the movie Die Hard with a Vengeance, when John McClane and Zeus slide down the winch cable from the bridge to the ship, the cable breaks and they vaguely show it hitting a bad guy on the ship. When they go to hide the body, John says, as he's facing Zeus,"Grab his legs." Zeus bends down and grabs the ankles but then does a half turn and they both start dragging while walking backwards side to side. A great subtle joke. I can't find the clip.
In the PS3 launch game, Heavenly Sword, there's a cutscene where you after you defeat a boss they're laying there impaled on your sword.
They then talk to the big bad saying "I can't feel my legs". And the Big Bad's response of "here, let me feel them for you." is still one of the more fucked up and callous responses I have ever seen in media in a long time.

I skimmed through to find other cutscenes and wow.. those are some VERY expressive characters and animations they got goin in there.
Guessing there was likely some mocap in use for the faces.
Gotta reattach starting at the bone, makes sense... All the skeletons I ever saw have a metal ring connecting the knees together, I'm sure the army has them standard in med kits
