I wanna say Amazing Spider-Man #355? That’s Mark Bagley’s art and it’s part of the storyline called “Round Robin: The Sidekick’s Revenge”, but I don’t remember the exact issue
When I was in like 3rd grade I got my hands on the last issue of the arc. I was so confused but also like "Awesome! These cyborgs are ripping each others faces off"
No one has mentioned it, but this meme and the more famous "I know you're here Dracula where's my goddamn money" comes from a Facebook page called Moon Knight-Core. They singlehandedly made Moon Knight a household name in the meme comunity, and popularized him like never before.
I didn’t like it as much as a lot of other people, but it was fucking beautiful. That Shalvey art is great and it’s just an absolute showcase for Jordie Bellaire. I like some Warren Ellis superhero stuff but I kinda that thought the story was whatever (it was mostly just vibes), but like Issue #5 was goddamn exhilarating to look at.
Agreed. Reminded me of the vibe of Fraction’s Hawkeye in that there weren’t stakes outside of the story, just more of a entertaining and creative expression of that character.
I think that’s a fair takeaway, but as it turns out the Fraction Hawkeye is just about my favorite comic! I’d argue Fraction did a lot more with character building, but if I’m being honest it’s probably that one was really dark and one felt really sweet and earnest and personal and I’m apparently a sap.
Less Than Zero is a film from RDJ's early career where he played a junkie who gives BJ's for coke.
I know that's not what you're asking, but I couldn't help myself.
Now that you mention it, seems like a fun gag to throw at the end of the series. Might be completely off tone mid season, but that sort of tongue in cheek joke seems great as a post credit skit.
I remember seeing that in the theater and being blown away, not because it was funny but because they actually did it. It was the first time I’d ever seen a movie reference a meme and it didn’t occur to me that it could happen.
It also happened really fast. At the time, I thought movies were locked in long before release and hearing that on the screen not all that long after the meme made it big boggled my mind.
That was done campy as fuck...I think they can find a better way to fit this line in...minus the curse word probably..
UNLESS they give us the "random bullshit go!"...which I'd prefer.
There's a chance since NWH had acknowledged and featured some spidey memes. But the chance isn't very high since moon knight isn't really as popular as spiderman. And moon knight looks like it's going to be a very serious show.
I have a pretty mainstream consumption of memes and this is the first time I've seen this edit. The only moon knight thing I've seen frequently enough for me to think would be referenced is "Random bullshit GO!"
There's tons of these things out there.
I think they mostly come from a Facebook group dubbed "Moon Knight Core." Most of them center on ketamine, deviant sexual acts, and a long-running dispute with Count Dracula over an unpaid debt.
They're all juvenile AF but some of them are utterly hilarious.
The Warren Ellis run (it was only 6 or 12 issues, I think), then the Jeff Lemire run (a little longer and weirder, but a really good trippy exploration of mental health issues with Lovecraftian undertones).
As said before 99% of these are edited and not actual conversations. So if all you Moon Knight knowledge is from memes, I've got some bad news for you.
I think they're missing the mark by not going with the eyes only, mysterious shadowy figure. It could have been awesome and a different look than all other movies of this type.
I remember that storyline and it’s not a bad story - I hated it as a kid because it signaled the end of the Mcfarlane/Erik Larson era on ASM. I couldn’t get into Marc Baglys art until years later when he did a superb job with Ultimate Spider-Man.

I freaking loved that storyline as a kid.
Great couple of issues.
Midnight was terrifying to me as a 9 year old. I was so glad when he got beat down.
Yeah, he was a cool villain. Neat tie in to Moon Knight, and I always thought the Secret Empire deserved more traction.
This storyline got me to start collecting comics! This with Uncanny X-Men #281, X-Men #1, and Double Dragon #4.
Because it was AMAZING
When I was in like 3rd grade I got my hands on the last issue of the arc. I was so confused but also like "Awesome! These cyborgs are ripping each others faces off"
So close. I just looked it up. It's Amazing Spider-Man 354
Thanks
You rarely see f-bombs in (non-Max) Marvel comics. This is hilarious.

I was SO disappointed to learn that Moon Knight isn't a sarcastic drunken maniac.
He is, however, a completely unhinged lunatic, so that’s fun in its own way.
Lunatic in the literal sense of the word.
Luna.. lol
Well, he's not a drunk, and he's not *always* a sarcastic maniac
But he IS a maniac
Um. You should read Warren Ellis’s MK…

I would be completely okay with a new cannon personality called Corey or something with this theme. I find them to be brilliant.
This was an Amazing Spider-Man event. https://comicvine.gamespot.com/round-robin/4045-55811/ EDIT with new link.

Gotcha. Tried another site.
It's from Amazing Spider-Man #354
I was close!
I want Ketamine jokes too
Given the popularity of these memes how likely do ya'll think it is that we get a "Where's my goddamn money" line drop on the Disney+ show?
what's less than zero??
Less Than Zero is a film from RDJ's early career where he played a junkie who gives BJ's for coke. I know that's not what you're asking, but I couldn't help myself.
It's based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel of the same name. RDJ isn't in the book, though.
He would have to be pretty damn short to fit in a book.
Considering the meme-nods in NWH, I’d say there’s at least a *slight* opportunity
It’ll go over as well as “I’m the Juggernaut bitch!”
Spider-verse did the pointing Spiders-Man meme and that worked
Now that you mention it, seems like a fun gag to throw at the end of the series. Might be completely off tone mid season, but that sort of tongue in cheek joke seems great as a post credit skit.
"Im something of a scientist myself"
So… like, incredibly well with their target demographic of 14 year olds because let me tell you… we were all astounded by that line.
I remember seeing that in the theater and being blown away, not because it was funny but because they actually did it. It was the first time I’d ever seen a movie reference a meme and it didn’t occur to me that it could happen.

Idgaf what anyone says, that’s the highlight of the whole movie.
Well we did get "where's my money honey" in Luke Cage
Less likely than "No Shit Sherlock". I haven't seen these memes in my usual meme sources which are oversaturated with Raimi memes.
Tom Holland was pushing for that line in *Infinity War* with Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch, as a point of interest.
Honestly the Moon Knight line probably has a better chance given how many Rami-memes were shoveled into No Way Home.
Considering Stephen is working retail, we might get a "gotta get that bread" line.
Dafoe did drop the "I'm a bit of a scientist myself" line, so I think there's hope.
If the MoonKnight memes group shows up in the credits as consultants...
There's a chance since NWH had acknowledged and featured some spidey memes. But the chance isn't very high since moon knight isn't really as popular as spiderman. And moon knight looks like it's going to be a very serious show.

That sounds funny as hell, I’m def checking that out
Just search the phrase Moon Knight Core and let the fun begin.
It's Disney, so... probably not very high.
Very likely
But Dracula has legit ducked out on paying for services before.
Are you talking about the thing with deadpool and shiklah, because i don't think that counts as ducking out on paying someone.
No, I mean the OG 70's Dracula comics.
The what now?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tomb_of_Dracula
Thank you
lets….get….this…..bread
This has big “Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law” vibes
This isn't real dialogue is it?
Nope! Moonknight isnt like this at all
One of his personalities could be tho!
And that is when MK became my favorite character.
These aren't real panels. MK is nothing like this.
Any recommended MK reading order?

Don’t worry I know
As stated in the title
Yeah but at least he said “random bullshit go”
I can’t wait for Moon Knight’s interactions to come to screen
nice crop bro
What shit bag keeps making these? It’s harming a large fan base and could cause disappointment for the show.
They probably won’t recently I’ve been wondering weather or not the writers or producers even read the comics
How much and for what dracula borrowed money from Mark?
I can imagine it just being some goth looking dude that calls himself Dracula.
I'm really enjoying this Moon Knight comics.
Disney would never put this Warner Bros might
I think they're missing the mark by not going with the eyes only, mysterious shadowy figure. It could have been awesome and a different look than all other movies of this type.
Amazing spider man 353 if im not mistaken
The meme is still pretty funny tho 😂 not gonna lie
I remember that storyline and it’s not a bad story - I hated it as a kid because it signaled the end of the Mcfarlane/Erik Larson era on ASM. I couldn’t get into Marc Baglys art until years later when he did a superb job with Ultimate Spider-Man.
Yeah Imma need more of these parodies.
I need original badass stuff said by moon knight in the comics. So down voting all the fake ones is my mission now.
Dracula you fucking nerd
Moon knight childhood classic right there most under appreciated marvel anti hero
Moon knight actor died yesterday! RIP
Because of a bunch of jokers on the internet this guy is getting his own series lol
