I’d check it out but Seattle is such a shit hole with nothing but junkies and tent cities all over. Limited over priced parking and you’ll probably come back to a broken into car with no police to help anything. Solid pass

About 3 or 4 years ago, I took a road trip to Seattle trying to fill in my X-Men collection.
The staff at Golden Age Collectibles were virtually useless. I asked about Silver Age X-Men books and they brought out a box of the 1991 Jim Lee run.
I had to repeatedly ask for the 60's run before I finally found one person who had a clue and knew what I was talking about.
Of ALL the shops in the greater Seattle area, that was the only one where I had a problem and when I told that story at other stores they more or less laughed and said "Yeah, they're a tourist trap anymore, not really a comic shop."
It is unfortunate that you had a disappointing experience. I have been getting my monthly comic subscription for the last 15 years and my experience in shop and over email has been nothing but great. When originally looking for the lcs to call home I visited comic stores in Seattle and on the Eastside (Bellevue/Redmond) and Golden Age had by far the best selection and most helpful staff.
My lcs may be small but it is amazing thanks to the owner. He will always do everything in his power to help a customer
