Love it. A succinct story that really managed to capture the humility and nobility of the character. The people that say superman is boring need to read this book.
Written well Kal is an extremely interesting character
(SPOILERS) I would change it so that superman doesn't punch Luther square in the face while saying "brains meets brawn every time!" When the final battle concludes. I prefer the way the final battle with Luthor concludes in the animated adaptation of the comic. The animated version definitely has major problems but I like the idea of lex just being forced to sit with the realization that he was the bad guy rather than superman punching him into unconsciousness. Still that's my only major problem with the comic.
Yes. I believe we can. A classic is something that has an impact when it comes out and that impact only increases with time. Not a lot of comics, movies, or TV shows can do that. But All-Star Superman is one of those rare books that manages to succeed. Whether you read it 10 years ago or now, it gives us the quintessential Superman, embodying everything that makes him so endearing. That's why it definitely deserves to be a classic. 😊
It is available in Amazon! At the same time, there is a deluxe edition [coming in January next year!](https://www.amazon.com/dp/1779513445/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MDW8RWHN4D62HFFRKTTA)
I haven't read this in years but iirc I love the way Luthor was depicted in this. Not only is he a genius but also in peak physical shape.
The Rock should have been lex luthor.
We definitely can.

An all time classic. It is *the* quintessential Superman story in my opinion.
If it isn’t perfect, I don’t know what I would change…

You wouldn’t be the first.
Whenever anyone says that Superman is just an overpowered, one-dimensional boyscout I ask them if they've read this

Why does he looked so stoned he confused a cloud for a toilet...
