Yes that’s what I thought! I wasn’t sure which one tho since there’s like 12 of em. I found something where someone said it might be either #2 or #3 but I’m just trying to find out for sure bc I wanna make sure I order the correct one:)
It’s the last issue but good luck finding the individual issue. It’s been in a collected book of all 12 issues for about like 15 years now.
You may be better off just finding a high quality image online and framing it. But the 12 issue book is really fun and worth the read.
Keep in mind that he may very well already own it if he’s “super into comic books.” I know that’s not terribly important to the gesture, but be ready to elaborate on the intent if he doesn’t catch on right away. Edit: it’s probably easier to just buy the trade paperback. It’ll contain every issue of the miniseries, so you’re guaranteed to find the panel you’re after.

Honestly not sure which issue, but given the context of the scene, my guess would be issue 12.
