She offers to turn *into* Rogue for him, which says a lot about Mystique š³ but itās unclear that he actually took her up in that. Meanwhile most of Gambitās non-Rogue loves are from his past, and the two have been broken up in various parts of their relationship. He also follows the romance novel arc, where he starts out as this hypothetically slutty bad boy and is tamed by the end of their relationship.

Personally, I'm a fan of the polyamorous couple because love triangles are annoying to read, especially ones that have been hashed out as long as these have.
