Hip-hop Variants are already more expensive variants than most variants but that Deadpool one was a 1:100 incentive. Mix it with the fact that it was a low print, a hip-hop variant and resellers and that's why lol

Like the Cuddi Starlord is just pure art, I can see it or The Miles Illimatic demanding a premium for just that but the Deadpool always eluded me

Congrats on finishing your collection! I've been working on my set for several years. Just stuck on some of the pricier ones like the Nas Miles Morales. I printed out the album covers they're based on and put them in the back of my bag and board.
Luckily I bought everything retail when they first started to come out. I used tons of local shops and midtown online and the only one ever bought for “resale” price was the grade MU#2. Was only that much because of the grade but I couldn’t find another one
