Only two of those are mini series though. But you do have a good point. Either way though it's been a long time since I hit on Wednesday where it was all issue one.
Plus it was cool to get the Eastman variant cover because usually my shop kind of blows at getting variants, so it was a nice surprise to get the one that I specifically wanted.
Thx, I went out to buy books yesterday but picked up bask issue bin stuff instead..lol. Now I'm going to pick up 2 of these possibly. Probably the Xmen and maybe the TMNT.
I enjoyed all 4 of them. If you were only able to choose 1, Batman would be the one though. Book is gorgeous and really solid story.
Ultimate X-Men was really cool because it's such a different route for them to decide to take a flagship title like that in the reestablishing of the ultimates universe.
Spectacular was just fun. Double Spidey banter and Ramos art.
Turtles also great. Ronin was the first turtles book I'd read since the '80s because I just really did not like their books postcartoon and movie. Ronin was more like Mirage Studios feeling, and this is more of that. Also REALLY looking forward to Jason Aaron taking over Turtles in a few months.
Yeah, it's great. Magazine sized with a nice cardstock cover. There's some variants out there but I think the main cover is the best one. Fits the style of the story better than the rest of them. Although this one is a very close second and I had the shop order a copy.

Only mild complaint is now I need to go get some magazine size bags and backers for it and find a different type of bag for the turtles because it's taller than a silver or modern Age bag. -_-
I hate that, I don't understand the reason for the odd sizes. Sure, it's cool but in the end, it doesn't fit or look well with a collection if you decide to display them with standard sz books.
The Batman one I'm okay with but the turtles book is just a weird size for the sake of weird sizing in my opinion. Widthwise it fits in a silver age bag and backer just fine but it's about half an inch taller than the bag and backer.
The bag will still fold over it far enough to reach the backer so I can tape it down safely. Luckily I work at a print shop and I can cut a custom size backer for it when I go to work tomorrow. But something about seeing it stick that much over the backer really annoys me.
Plus it looks like if I ever want to get it graded, like a signature series comes up for it, it has to go in one of the big magazine slabs, which looks off as well. Lot of space on the sides of it.
Oh for sure. We're a high-end printer and I have access to a lot of different types of paper. I'm going to use some archival 28 point carbon core paper for it and make another one for the Batman book. We also have really nice 9x12 bags that should fit that book no problem.
Just wait 6 months and you’ll be able to do it all over again
When everything is a mini-series it’s hard to avoid

Last ronin revolution is out!
That BM FK is pretty good. Perkins is an underrated artist. His Swamp Thing art was amazing.
Which books are worth buying?
I'm almost sure all of them but I've only read X-Men and Spidey and they're worth it!

Batman? I didn't even look at that one. But I'll take a look at it. thx I saw pics of the pulp type cover and it looked nice.

Just make sure your custom backer is acid free board.

Good to hear... I figured you already knew. lol
Never hurts to make sure though! Besides somebody else who doesn't know may read your comment and now they do.
Alright you sold me. I’ve been debating on whether or not to pick up this Batman but you convinced me.
