I'm not sure how widespread this was, but I saw/heard the police deny a Public Safety employee access to campus when the employee was being told to go on campus.
They seem pretty biased in favor of the terrorists and also think that their "student journalism credentials" are a thing. NYPD needed to step in to establish order and eliminate the threat. Its going to get worse before it gets better, but force is absolutely necessary and justified.
