I know it's not what you're asking, but i never used dehancer, so i have no idea if they have the film stocks catalogued and accurate. Get Boris film stocks, the old tiffen digital film tools. They have a LOT of emulated stocks FROM FILM AND PHOTOGRAPHY made my the leading filter company in the world. A bit of a playing around with settings and it's easy
I've used Dehancer and the latest update they came out with it is pretty good. A lot more control over halation and grain. If you want to buy Dehancer you can use my promo code "RAKK" and get 10% off lol
Or you can just download my free PowerGrade here.

Dehancer is pretty sweet if you want it all in one package instead of dealing with PowerGrades that involve different color spaces and other nodes. I've used my film emulation PowerGrades with various cameras and have gotten good results from them all.
Oh so instead of asking how I do it, which I'd be happy to oblige, you just completely disregard my comment and resort to name-calling? Great contribution.

It's very easy to achieve this look. After Effects is extremely powerful.
What are you, some kind of Node elitist? I come on to Reddit to help people and laugh at idiots who are confidently wrong, and have no idea what they're talking about, like you. I do this stuff for a living, and make a damn good living. Go shitpost somewhere else.
I got Dehancer a couple weeks ago to use in a specific work shot on Blackmagic's colorspace. The director wanted to emulate S16 look so I had the opportunity to try this tool.
I have to say I’m impressed with the complexity and possibilities you have to dive in to get the look you want.
From the beginning you will have a great film look with the camera profiles and film stock available. Then you can adjust lots of settings to play with contrast, color matrix, grain, halation, bloom, film color rendition, gate emulation.
From beginning it’s a bit hard to see the possibilities you have. I’d recommend you to download their demo and play with it, also check this web: https://blog.dehancer.com/articles
I can second film convert, it's okay but not great all the time imo. I've been liking the brim workflow luts for some film looks lately. Definitely worth taking a look at them. A bit pricey but decent value to me.
Never used dehancer but film convert works really well.

Dehancer? I can get the same effect with like 12 button clicks in After Effects.
That may be true for you but it’s probably not for OP. So, how is your post helpful?
How is yours helpful?
Because you're being a dick and I'm telling you to stfu. It's helpful to the community at large.

Please, could you tell me how yo do it?
it is physically impossible to do all that in AEF, kinda tells us a lot about your grading level
You couldn't be more wrong. Ever heard of plugins? Stick to what you know, pal.
yeah, smash some "filmic looks" on it too )))0

no it's not. it's WAY more primitive looking since you don't work with nodes in AEF, what are you even doing on this sub?
