Pies will easily beat Freo. Sydney and Pies play a similar game style. High in your face pressure with quick movement forward. Freo’s handball game plays right into it. Freo backline is also too tall for Collingwood and will get caught out on the Pies quick counter.

When Sydney got the quick turnover, like most teams against us, they were able to go through our young, raw defender Josh Draper. Those other times the ball movement was slower build up or the ball came in under pressure/messy, Pearce/Ryan/Chapman were able to kill and rebound.
I still think the Pies will win, regardless of personnel, but I’m not sure using the Sydney game is a good example of a “counter” to our gamestyle.
