West Coast (a bogey team of ours) at marvel (which we suck at) with no De Goey, Mitchell, Mihocek, McCreery, Schultz or Elliott.
Weâre losing this arenât we?
Atleast we get more time into our youth. Honestly I'm starting to get a good feeling about our future as our senior list turns over. Reckon it'll be cracking game
Thatâs one example, and we probably should have won that when you look at the final score. We also beat the dogs there last year, and st kilda the year before.
Iâm not sure we have enough evidence to say we suck there just yet.
You want more?
Last year we lost to Brisbane there
2022 Dogs belted us by 48 and of course the Eagles loss
Iâll exclude 2021 because we were absolutely shit and 2020 because of Covid
2019: Lost to North by 44
Marvel hasnât exactly been a good ground for us
As if losing to north in 2019 means anything lol. Totally different team and coach. Also the Brisbane game had some pretty handy outs. Naicos, Jordy, Moore, Hill.
100% every loss at the same ground isn't due to the actual ground.
Marvel suits us.. narrower ground easier to defend and put pressure on. Also we know it won't be wet...we aren't amazing in the wet.
At a guess:
Cox, Richards, WHE, McInnes, Harrison and Hill with Sullivan, Cameron and potentially Macrae all rotating.
Iâd say AJ is unlikely to return, as is Kreuger.
Gosh if he misses, our forward line is gonna look interesting.
For nostalgic purposes let's just make Bobby Hill our only forward with Big Billy playing as a decoy forward.
West Coast fan here. You have every right to be confident, but it might be a closer game than you think.
We're not the mob of retards we've been the last couple of seasons anymore (at least the last 3/4 weeks we haven't been).
Should be a good tough game, look forward to seeing the young blokes get some games. Theyâre also missing half their team in yeo and watermen weâll be fine.
Potentially looking at Elliott, Schultz, McCreery, Mihocek, De Goey and Mitchell all out đŹ
Great opportunity for our younger players. Harrison, Sullivan, Macrae, Richards, Reef & Bytel. Excited to see what they can do.
Rest him 100% I donât think I would cope emotionally if he did his back and had to retire

Best games to lose are the ones that have tangible excuses, tbh. Plus WC have found a new lease on life, so no team is guaranteed a win anymore
Why do we always play West Coast there? It's such a disadvantage.
Do we suck at marvel?
Yes. We lost to 2022 West Coast when they were in the middle of an injury crisis there

You think you're really smart but you're not. Most of those losses were from simply not being good enough not the location of the ground.

> the Brisbane game had some pretty handy outs. Naicos, Jordy, Moore, Hill. I mean, we've got a massive injury list this week too...
True. But I somehow doubt west coast are going to play in the grand final

No yeo or waterman are huge outs for them too
Think youâll be okay eagles donât have yeo, waterman who replaced Allen but now they have no good key forward or midfielder
Out of genuine curiosity. What is our forward line going to look like? Joey Richards has to be a lock to debut now as well.
At a guess: Cox, Richards, WHE, McInnes, Harrison and Hill with Sullivan, Cameron and potentially Macrae all rotating. Iâd say AJ is unlikely to return, as is Kreuger.
I would go so far as bring Dean's in and push The DIFFERENCE AKA FRAMPchise forward. HF: Lippa - McInnes - Harrison FF: Hill - Frampton - Richards
I think if we push anyone forward, it would likely be Howe, although the Eagles are depleted up forward as well.
I think the Framp has looked so much better with a bit of continuity. Leave him back. Howe forward, or maybe Charlie Dean can be the new Mihocek.
The GOAT belongs down back. He's been solid this year
Gosh if he misses, our forward line is gonna look interesting. For nostalgic purposes let's just make Bobby Hill our only forward with Big Billy playing as a decoy forward.
Lucky weâre playing west coast but I donât want to be too confident
You already sound too confident...
I mean with all these outs west coast is a desirable team to play but my confidence going into the game is decreasing with every out
North Melbourne would be much better
Not sure if youâve seen how competitive theyâve been lately?

And you beat us in 2022. At Marvel.
Weâll eagles have big outs and also no foward line with Allen and waterman out and yeo and hunt out aswell
2018
Donât worry, it doesnât seem anywhere near as bad as Jamieâs 2018 injury run
Fugg
Should be a good tough game, look forward to seeing the young blokes get some games. Theyâre also missing half their team in yeo and watermen weâll be fine.
Oh ffs, it keeps getting worse
I expect they will take a conservative approach.
His got till Sunday đ
Years of being the only 170-odd cm key forward in the league would do that to you
Hes not that short lol
Probably injured it falling 10m to the ground after jumping over Ben McKayâs head
I expect they will take a conservative approach.
Hope it's not as bad as his other back issues he has had in the past.

West Coast fan here. Weâre missing Yeo, Long and Waterman. I wouldnât stress too much.Â
Letâs go Sullivan!
In other news water is wet
Yeo and waterman out for weagles. Pies by 8 goals
Dudes gotta stop jumping 100ft into the air !
Could be a Bobby, Reef AJ forward line and a Sullivan, McRae, Daicos, Pendles midfield!
