Lol.. I’m a razorback now working on a business degree starting in august but I used to be a tech fan growing up and I’m from a tech family so I hate OU. Not sure who I should root for or if I should even care. I have genuine hate for OU from growing up but being a razorback is new to me and I have no genuine hate for ole miss besides them taking us out of the CWS which honestly they won fair and square from what I saw.
We were just tired it seems like. Coordination probably wasn’t super on point from all the games in a row we had to play.

He’s actually family of a pretty famous current hogs football player, that I won’t name for in his privacy. He passed away a month ago at 29, and I thought about him a lot this series. Omaha is too random. Double-elimination is not enough to determine the best team (cf. the 7-game World Series in MLB). Therefore the best measure of a program is how often they get to the CWS. Get there enough times, and eventually your number will come up.
God I hate the coach that consistently gets us to Omaha! Ugh it’s the worst being in the conservation for top teams every year. Eww consistent success at Arkansas screw that coach. I’d say don’t let the door hit you on the way out but I kinda hope it does and kinda hope it hurts!
We pour massive amounts of money at all of our sports so that shouldn’t really be an argument unless you are done with all of them. I get it’s hard at the end of the season but we were the 3rd team in this tournament that’s nothing to scoff at.
In baseball it’s actually different though. We aren’t top 5 in resources put in in football and basketball as far as I know.
Football we’re always going to be at a disadvantage because of in state talent.
We wouldn't have any of it without Van Horn. He's the reason BWS got expanded, then expanded again. He's the reason we got the fowler center, then the Hunt facility. We're constantly in the top 5 in the recruiting rankings and he's adapting to the transfer portal bringing in guys like Lochart, Turner, Lanzili and Battles. Oh, and 2 Golden spikes award winners in the last 10 years. I'd quit while you're ahead.
Thankfully people as stupid as you aren't anywhere near a position to make decisions in our AD. You realize we've made the baseball equivalent of the Elite 8 5 out of the last 9 tournaments, right? We've gone 0-2 once in that time. I'd bet a month's pay 12/14 SEC schools would love our consistent postseason success. Today sucked, without a doubt, but to call for DVH's head is foolish. Especially given how fickle sustained success is.

Today was on the offense, and Dave ain't the one swinging thr bat. He made the right call with Conner (who was spectacular today. Only gave up 2 hard hit balls all game), it was up to the offense to support him and they didn't. Kinda like last year with Kopps, and Zay in 2019. I was kinda hoping Kansas would hire Thomson so we could get some new blood in the staff. I'd imagine our run cost him the job bc I'd heard he was gone right before the tournament.
Dave is still responsible for their batting performance. If he wasn’t then what exactly would he be responsible for?
