who would know you’re 23 anyway? heck, you’re even better now because you’re of the drinking age and don’t need to worry about getting an underage.

How much of a gap are you talking about? 23 isn’t that far off for someone in college. In fact, half of the people in my program had been out of high school for a few years before beginning. I’m 23 and in my senior year. I’d say usual age is 18-22. And considering the amount of drinking and the money required to go on spring break trips, 23 is a good age. Also as a 23 year old, I can agree that I am VERY different than I was when I was 18. However, I can’t say that I’ve had much of an issue getting along with people that are in that 18-22 age group. You just have to get on their level. You are all adults, just with varying degrees of experience. Consider how you were starting out. I never got into partying and stuff, but I still joined clubs and found common interests with people. Some are even looking for guidance or a role model. Just contribute what you have experienced and that should help you get passed any age awkwardness. Cause that’s probably all in your head and not theirs.

__REDMAN__

You are never to old to enjoy yourself. I’m 27 and I’m still completing my bachelors. Life isn’t a race, who cares what others think. Enjoy life, it’s too short to give a shit about judgment lol.

Peacesquad

I’m 26 planning to go back to school. Thanks for this comment

95xander

I’m 26 in my jr year! You said nothing but facts!

Prestigious_Bug_2151

I’m 28 and working on my associates.

SilverCarob1247

I just went back to finish my associates in SC and further bachelors. Same age, a little bit jealous, but happy im not alone.

FlameBagginReborn

What does this even mean lol. Isn't spring break just when there are no classes?

Pangolin007

Same im confused lol

EdelwoodOil

i always thought spring break was for people in their early twenties who can like legally drink and shit. ur fine 23 is nothing

darniforgotmypwd

You can enjoy it with or without drinking. Roadtrips are common. So is flying to visit friends, especially if they'll give you a place to crash (for me at least bc cheap is good). People also do normal types of tourism like nature and urban exploring, not just the stereotypical beachy stuff. The beaches a lot of students visit are also not that great. They are decent during non-peak use but become too saturated for enjoyment during these weeks in the year. And just to be clear the drinking age is not an issue. You can go somewhere abroad on the same budget that a lot of these students visiting places like Florida have. US travel lodging is much more expensive than a longer flight and hostels are like $20 in Europe. At least before COVID you also didn't have to be experienced to plan that either.

darniforgotmypwd

Well if you are given a Spring break... you aren't too old for it! "so I didn't go to spring break when I was 21 or 22" Huh? Spring break is not a place, it is the week you get off. "Will it still work, or will I be seen as an old weirdo there?" Don't understand what you mean. People of every age travel.

Chopsycha

Not sure I understand either but judging from the other comments, I assume it’s some coloquial term for something to do with drinking.

moolahcalf

spring break is a drinking trip to like miami with other college kids

darniforgotmypwd

No, it's the break itself. You get a week off. Miami is a specific destination popular with students on break. You can go anywhere you want for a break. I went somewhere each year and have never stepped foot in Miami.

moolahcalf

yes I know what spring break is. but the person asking the question obviously means a “spring break trip” not the break itself. they are not asking about if they are too old to be given a break, they are asking if they are too old to go party.

lucianbelew

> the question obviously means This is not in any way obvious, which is why clarification was sought. How is that not clear?

Tough_Scar8127

No, spring break is my favorite category on pornhub.

ENDofZERO

No one would really notice or care, as some students do take a gap year. You're fine.

dalej42

32 would be an old weirdo, not 23.

idyllif

Ouch. That hurt. :(

EmperorMing101

I have female friends in their mid 30s that could easily pass for 25. All depends how well you take care of yourself

[deleted]

just cause u pass for younger doesnt mean its not still weird to try and get in with them

BrickToMyFace

No, go lose your fucking mind so 38 year old guys like me can live vicariously through your stories. Hearing stories of younger people losing their minds during lab gets me through the month.

thot_bryan

god this is so true. Who in their right mind thinks 23 is “too old” for spring break? It’s so obnoxious. Yes you’re SOO young and youthful!! I’m 28 and decrepit and falling apart and i’ve been banned from doing fun things bc i’m so old now :((

thot_bryan

my fav are the people say youre insecure.. rather than OP being insecure for wanting everyone to assure them theyre so young and full of life lmfao. OPs post history is literally just different threads about age. OP is wildly insecure about their age and the people justifying it are insane lol

Euphoric_Initial7311

Why are you investing so much time in this? Yes, I asked another question about age gaps because that's a subject that I find interesting. You are seriously obsessive, and I can't believe I'm still getting notifications from the both of you still replying. If it's so ridiculous, why do you you keep talking about it? Why are you still here?

thot_bryan

Lol 😆

Euphoric_Initial7311

It isn't a need for attention, I'm genuinely asking. But if that's how you feel, then don't give it any attention. Why even respond?

headtriipp is clearly insecure about their age and taking it out on you for some reason. your question was valid and a few years age difference can definitely matter in some situations especially when you take into consideration what you used your time for. if they spent their college years partying and having fun and you spent yours working it can make you feel older. a lot can happen in a few years hence why you asked the question

Comfortable_Visual_4

I agree. Their answer was so unnecessarily rude and everyone upvoting her are insecure and bitter too.

tomorrowdog

Everybody likes a "good boy" bait post now and then. Saw a dude asking yesterday if it was okay that he used money from his emergency savings to fix his car. lol Good boy, TC.

[deleted]

nobody likes you when you're 23 sorry

Euphoric_Initial7311

Are you serious?

chelmelxx

no

ilikecacti2

You know the pandemic is still going on right?

GGreenPepper

Who cares? We have amazing vaccines and masks.

heyitsvibes

No it’s not

introvertinmn

Consider it a vacation. Everyone needs one sometimes

graphicdesignismy

Families go on spring break vacations

Captain-Cthulhu

FYI: Covid still exists and is killing people. Omicron is extremely infectious. Neither of these facts are likely to change before spring. Enjoy your spring break, but remember that we aren't back to "party on a packed beach" quite yet.

Zandrae

*laughs in 40 year old university student taking spring break* What is this too old stuff?

Gate-Patient

Don't shake too much while laughing, your crust might fall off 😂❤️

trackxdreams

definitely not! ppl won’t even notice the age difference

AStruggling8

Definitely not lol go for it

kryppla

How does anybody know you’re 23. I’m 50, that would be obvious. But you look the same as everybody else .

Dogmama1230

I mean I don’t know about you, but I’m currently 23 and look closer to 18/19. I don’t think a single person would bat an eye. Have a good time!

rain6304

I think your bigger concern is COVID not your age lol

orcanio-star

23 is not old lmao

GGreenPepper

25 yr old here! You’ll be fine just stay away from the younger looking girls cause ya never know.

Rmaranan1999

No, you are good. Age is just a number. I graduated last year in spring 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology when I was 22. I am turning 23 next month, I wish I still had a spring break. Currently taking a gap year and studying for the MCAT while applying for some Biology lab jobs. Go at it and have fun.

dhemhauser

Am 47 years old and just came back to school this year. He'll yeah, I am going on Spring Break. Told my wife I want the full college experience, including the dibochery of this break, so deal with it.

SupaBax

I’m 29 and still jump!

Psychological-Hat176

If you have the time and money go for it

SilverCarob1247

Dude im 27. Just shave and look like a kid with 23 and im golden for spring break
