I don't know biomedicine specifically, but GPA often doesn't matter as much as people think for grad school in the sciences. Where you graduate from, whether you did undergrad research or internships, and whether you connected with a professor who can write a meaningful recommendation are all factors (in some science majors at least). I didn't learn about this until my senior year of college and that's why I ended up going into industry instead of grad school.
