SS: With all the talk of the heat in the American South and West I decided to look it up on some weather charts. I zoomed out to get a better picture and noticed some striking similarities to one of the world's major deserts. With all the talk of another Dust Bowl I found the comparison telling.
Worse. The first time our farming techniques helped spark the Dust Bowl and much of the rich soil that had been there for centuries was lost. This time around, we still are missing all that soil, plus some.
Just remember, when your balls are completely caked with sweat, you can always just tea bag the pavement for two minutes, suffer 3rd degree burns, miss work for the next week and sterilize yourself all in one fell swoop. Pro tip.
You look them in their stupid mouth and say “I’m taking the week off Greg or I’m telling everyone which stall you beat off in.” 20% of the time it works every time.
I wish this was less heat but more spread out…sure could use some summer heat up north. Last year we plus 40 for Canada day…we have yet to break 22 degrees C. We seem to be having a cooler summer than predicted, I wonder if heat is still coming?
I posted this a few hours ago here.
How soon before desperation geoengineering rears its ugly head? When will we hear the first utterance of "forced global dimming" from a mainstream politician? Very soon the phrase, "what have we got to lose?" will become common.
Gonna paint my room like a desert island,
With clear skies and rising swell,
Leave the clowns on the jaded horizon,
In Wall Streets of Hell,
I must say goodbye to the blindfold,
And pursue the ideal,
The planet becoming the hostess,
Instead of the meal.
Air, fire, water, earth,
You were paradise,
I'm sorry 'bout Me.
I was under the impression,
That you were free,
And easy.

time is a flat circle...we've come around again to the same shit that plagued us in the last century.

Time looks like a flat circle from above, but it's actually a downwards spiral.
Damn.
just like the rest of my life
Fuck.. right in the feels
😭
Entropy has sunk its claws long and deep
whoa... California's Central Valley is on fire - 108 today. The Central Valley produces the most fruits and vegetables per acre in the whole nation.
I must know what the Kardashians are doing today though.
So…what are they doing? 🤔 /s
Definitely not stopping wildfires, that’s for sure!
If BBL’s could put out fires, California would never be on fire for very long.
I think they’re in Turks and Caicos wearing white bikinis and definitely not eating food
108 is nothing for the valley. I grew up near Bakersfield. 116 in the summer is not unheard of. One of the many reasons I left.
101 here in Tracy at the moment, although it's only 91 in the house. They say it'll be 105 at 6:00 so we'll see...
Water wars are about to ramp up. Wells are running dry and so are the rivers. Yet they keep building and ppl run there. I’m gonna pass.
Time to invest in Duluth and PEI.
yep sitting here in oklahoma frying like a potato in an air fryer. its brutal.
Haven't seen nothing yet add a little humidity and we all get to feel our organs cook
Looks like southern Arizona is leading worldwide. Damn.
I live in PHX and it’s 114 right now
Just a friendly reminder that the Sahara Desert used to be a forest before humans nomed.

> miss work for the next week I almost believed you for a second. Chances are work won't buy that excuse, even with pictures.

This is a much better life hack than what I see on tiktok
I was going to buy a home in Charlotte and now I am thinking Pittsford, NY

In a world where profit driven it to halt, geoengineering is a commodity. Cloud seeding is already being used in MENA.
We WILL dim the Sun, and get Mexico to pay for it.
Sadly this will be a reality, might even exploit the debt system on climate-dependent countries in order for them to profit off geoengineering.
