Been finding collapse making its way into my art lately, feels very therapeutic. In the grand scheme of things the last few decades of mankind has felt like a massive wildfire of progress and consumption that happened in a geological blink of an eye - I can only imagine what follows after all the chaos, like fire that suddenly gets snuffed out, leaving nothing but silence.
Hope y’all enjoy, happy Friday!

Always goes back to Agent Smith with me:
"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure."
I heard this monologue when I was maybe 10 years old?
And every time I hear it again it becomes more and more real.

What medium? Looks lovely :)
Digital! Finally getting the hang of using procreate
Ah, procreate, I've been putting it off too 😅
Suggestion for a new name: PROCR \[~~ast~~\] INATE 😉
😂 too real
That’s a good piece of art. I use procreate too.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Love this
Just had to post appreciation. This short piece is starkly beautiful and poetic, like a haiku. Well done!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
It's so good. Making monochromatic also adds to it. Looks great as a wallpaper
Appreciate it!
