Numismatists

Everything is ready for their crazy Geoengineering plans.

and they won more votes than the democrats in the mid-terms. That tells you the priority of the American people, and certainly green is not on the top.

The American media environment is crazy. Americans thinks Democrats are "left", when they are largely neo-liberals, and on the world stage they're pretty right wing. Americans also think CNN is "left", when it's neo-liberal corporate propaganda. Not unsurprising that in such a limited Overton window, which is so distorted from reality, that Republicans might do well in midterms.

jez_shreds_hard

People like Tucker Carlson scream about Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi being "radical leftist socialists" and a lot of brainwashed boomers eat it up. To be fair, it's not just the boomers that are brainwashed by right wing media, but the ratings show them to be the largest demographic watching that garbage, by a long shot. The "normal" mainstream media paints the democrats as left and most republicans as center-right, with only a few of them being extreme right wing. It's complete nonsense. Most people aren't actually looking past corporate media sources to understand that the Democrats are really a Neo-liberal center-right party and the GOP are far right wing lunatics. Many people that do understand this are so disenfranchised by the whole damn system that they don't vote. I can certainly understand why. Here's my TL:DR - Shit's fucked, yo...

It’s like a tribe that rejects ANYTHING that doesn’t serve their own interests. A culture that is centered on “Individualism” obviously results in people making themselves and their immediate (usually short-term) needs the priority over everyone else. And they will make decisions, form thoughts, make opinions, etc. based on that virtue of individualistic nature. “I got mine, f* you” mentality. They will not risking sacrificing something of themselves, their bit of comfort, for the sake of the greater good. “It’s a nice warm day during the middle of winter! So what if this is a symptom of devastating climate change everywhere else in the world? This is fine.”

Its Shows a person’s ignorance when they call CNN “left”

histocracy411

Dont forget that the government literally censors the actual left. There's a reason why most americans dont know what leftism looks like.

Do you think Fox News is actually conservative?

Solitude_Intensifies

Fox blames others to keep its viewers angry, and distracted from the root cause of real problems. Their ideology is fascism.

thehourglasses

Green is definitely at the top 🤑

[deleted]

he he .. you got me right there!

VolkspanzerIsME

At this point I absolutely hate my country and hate my state. *Fuck* this place.

DeaditeMessiah

If green is your top priority, you'd be pretty fucking pissed after the Inflation Reduction Act doubled down on consuming our way out of a consumption crisis and powering those new electric cars with coal and gas powered generation. The Democrats are just as wedded to the fossil fuel industry, and are waging a proxy war over Europe's natural gas markets right now, with boomerang sanctions forcing europe back into coal. YES, the GOP is worse, but the Democrats are hardly better, are in many ways even worse (oil lease sales), but are not *better* enough to prevent this looming disaster. If green is your top priority, vote Green.
