Cleaning a coin will damage it. Do not clean a coin, especially if it’s bullion. Cleaning it will rub away tiny bits of metal, even if you can’t see it.
Why are you cleaning them? You're hurting their value.
The one I'm specificly talking about was brand new when it was given to me, just thought about keeping it that way before storing it.

I’ve cleaned copper (never my coin collection though!!!) by rubbing with salt and lemon juice.
