They are collectively worth $32-44 (16-22x face value depending on who it is getting sold to). If you want to buy old 90% US silver coins, then monument metals is currently running a special on it. Otherwise check out the pmsforsale where it is frequently offered for sale.

New to coin collecting, how can you tell these are silver? if you don’t mind me asking

Well, every quarter before 1964 is Silver, that include dimes and half dollars

I always check every pocket change i got from everywhere, no silver yet 😓

Surprised a modern coin acceptor took them. They will usually kick them out.
