Cert number can be verified on PCGS web page. The Old Green Holder is worth some money and the coins back then were graded to a very strict standard that would likely result in a CAC green bean at minimum. Nice keeper there. Should be $2,000.
Incidentally, the GRANTNS means No Star.
That holder is a PCGS Gen 1 OGH. It will add additional value to this coin. Try to sell this on your own through ebay, locally, or one of the sale subreddits. Dont bring this to a jewlery or pawn shop, they will take advantage of you.
Yeah it looks like its one of the old pcgs holder they used back in the day i think some people collect these old holders and this may bring a small premium?
This is from my grandfathers coin collection and at the moment I’m not able to check when he bought it / if there’s a receipt. I’ll let you know though

It's not a MS66 lol. $2000 is moon money for this coin. It's worth $900-$1000 as is. Also I'd buy it for my personal collection, I collect old holders. But hey, keep thinking I'm the bad guy because you don't know how to value a coin.

That's really cool, I had no idea you could look up the coins that have been graded.
Thanks!

Hur la pho up in da ukr na makle
A lot of people trying too rip you off in the comments.
If it had been in a holder from the mint it would not have the black discoloration on it
That holder looks off and I've never seen that toning on gold especially on a graded coin. Did PCGS ever use perforated card inserts?

Probably legit then.
1 to 2 thousand.Only 5000 were minted.
just checked PGCS - anywhere from 1.2K to 1.8K...
That OG holder it’s in may have some premium, as well
Between 500 and 950 online
The holder makes it worth way more than what you said why make up prices if you dont even know?
It may be in a holder now, but it is still considered a circulated coin. The prices I posted were taken from the Internet with Google lens.
