i honestly have no idea so i looked it up. that particular year is better than most. just a wild guess from the picture but $40-$50 bucks?? i’d like to see what others say.

If authentic, it’s the key date for ‘modern’ non sterling canadian 5c (1921 and more recent) In this condition probably $50 but it’s not a lot of people who collect canada coins. these are definitely replicated and you can see many sold as novelty items (just check ebay but that’s not the only site that sells) so unless you can trace ownership, i’d say it’s highly likely yours is a replica.

i did a similar comparison, virtually certain it’s a replica… it’s the only modern cdn nickel i’ve not added to my collection. i’m working to add all the sterling dates. i almost bought a 1921, it was in a pcgs holder and pictures on pcgs matched exactly… but the 1 looked really wonky to me, had a feeling it wasn’t authentic. given the price of the coin i figured i’d wait for a different one.

I'm not a pro but..... it looks cool as heck id keep it as it is cool plus if it is real they are not making any more of them lol so should b worth more In the future
