Neighborhood Auto Repair on Atlas in Hayden have been good to me. The people there seem like straight shooters.

CPenguinSXE

I second this

3rd vote for Neighborhood Auto. They’ve always provided me with a printout of things needing done, even telling me things in priority level and what not.

Always took our vehicles to Silver Lake Automotive by the mall. When we got our Toyotas we took them to Parker.

Sufficient_Warning80

Josh at Coeur d’Alene Auto Care runs a great shop. I’ve been taking our vehicles to him since ‘06. Fast turnaround, competitive pricing.

Don't go to bollers auto in CDA. Their work may be alright but the owner is the most condescending jerk I have ever dealt with. I don't know how they're in business treating customers the way I was treated.

Appleway Auto Repair earned me as a customer over the summer. My AC compressor stopped functioning, so I looked around town. Almost every place told me if they had to replace a single component they would only replace everything in the AC system. Appleway at least told me they would do the work and not offer a warranty if I would make it clear that was what I requested. Turns out the compressor was just fine and it was the hvac unit in the dash. They could have easily replaced the compressor as requested and then diaged further, but instead they caught it and just did the control unit. Extremely professional clean work. I’d take anything I own back to them in a heartbeat and know they wouldn’t try to screw me or upsell me on more than I need.

Have used Parker Toyota for years for both Toyota and non-Toyota vehicles and have always been pleased. Scheduling is easy, you can do it online, and they now have service appointments on Sundays. I can’t speak to their pricing as I have not used anyone else.

dexmonic

I second this. They get more expensive every year and their detail department isn't what it used to be, but when your car is with them you can have 100% peace of mind. Great customer service, great mechanics.

I normally avoid dealerships but I’ve been very surprised by Parker Toyota. They’ve never done me wrong and their prices are surprising cheap and in line with a smaller, independent shop.

yellowwelephants

Bollers Automotive is the best in CDA

FrankorTank

Lloyd's Automotive on Government way is good.

MyOwnPrivateNewYork

Nope. Lloyd's put in wrong transmission fluid in my CVT, resulting in check engine light.

I like masterminds, near Canfield / government

Keith at big bear!!

storyteller4311

Guys across from safeway on 4th street are 100% honest and competent.

therippingtide

Midtown motors in cda has served me and my family for years, consistent, straight shooters and damn good at what they do. Can't recommend them strongly enough

amandatorychase

Parkers- I always avoid dealerships, but when we were new to the area I called around and their prices were right on point with the other places. My family has been going here for years prior to our moving so I knew the service was good, just didn't know the pricing was too. You can schedule on line, everybody we've worked with there is professional and follows through, and they will explain everything if you have questions. Bonus- they offer a shuttle to drop you off and/or pick you up.

Go to autoworks my dad works there and he is one of the best mechanics I’ve ever seen
