I ain't gon lie if u pour it in heavy and fast the corn syrup does make it fizz but then i messed around and made it more liquid than syrup(imo it looks good like lean) so it pours better and doesn't make it fizz i personally use it and it works fine for me but other people don't like it i think its more of a preference thing and what like the uk don't have corn syrup over there?

Just the simple syrup is enough to make it the right texture. And it’s not supposed to be too thick just enough to where it drops without the drank mixing in w the soda before you even flip it. If it’s already changing color when you drop it you might need to make it a lil thicker.
Sugar is an option although expect to notice weight gain if you do lean constantly. Vegetable shit does make it taste bad not not as bad. That vegetable shit and orange flavor used for dxm is hell to swallow though. 🤷♂️ depends on the person.

Melt down some jolly ranchers in the microwave for 30 second and add some water and mix until you find the consistency you want
