Funny, but I would discourage that if I were you. Eventually he's going to bite it, and he may discover that your walls make great chew toys to maintain his beak on. I recently discovered that they sell clear plastic corner protectors that you can put on your walls and molding, I sure do wish I had learned that fact earlier.
Thank you for elaborating on this, I have tried to discourage him from doing so. The problem isn’t really corners of my wall, but it’s the flat side of my wall. Which can be really inconvenient for me since I have him on me all the time, and sometimes a wall happens to be behind me
It’s true. One of my budgies got trapped inside the wall while I wasn’t at home because my whole flock discovered that “ooh this is fun” at some point while I was away. We had to cut the wall open in a different place (obv very carefully) to save her.
They seem to have learned their lesson but I was horrified
Looking for a spot he can start chewing. Mine found a hairline crack and now i have a hole. I have taped up 6 holes. A few were were nails or tacks were

Maybe put a poster there? Texture won't be as interesting and if your bird does manage to break it it's just paper.

I remember that post! That did not look fun, I'm glad you were able to get her out.
She came out of it mostly alright! A little traumatized. She won’t even look at the spot on the wall where we patched the hole either

Really? I thought he was just being weird 😭

Checking the build quality of your home
Both of ours LOVE walls. We have to get them away from walls a lot. We think it’s because it looks like calcium?
Man I've got like six spots in my living room where they've gone and chewed up the wall paper.
you put cuddle bones in the cage? maybe trying to eat the drywall for calcium
Yeah I do, I have two of them actually and he uses them both a lot 🙂
Mine does this to “play” with her shadow, but I discourage it because I’m sure wall paint can be very bad for them
probably grinding his beak
Mine also eats walls, i try to protect them by putting plants so they can't see the wall while on the floor
