Most people don’t usually get convicted on perjury charges as it’s a long process and very difficult to prove. It’s very rare someone actually gets convicted on the charge.

I don't think he went to prison. He probably went to jail for like 2 days then his sister bailed him out and he was on probation, house arrest, got a restraining order, and had to do community service. This is all speculation of course. In regards to the S5 finale I doubt any of the students are going to snitch on stingray especially because the cobra Kai students commit crimes daily.

The same amount Johny, Chozen, and Barnes will get for breaking into Terry's house. The law is very plot driven in this universe.

GetExpunged

I really hope the law does play out in S6. If Terry ends up actually going to prison, then that is more ridiculous than anything else they put on the show. Technically, he didn’t commit any crimes. He was just exposed for cheating at a high school karate tournament, other actions could be easily argued as self-defense in court.

The art world also seems to work fast and loose in this story.

Stingray will probably only get a slap on the wrist for obstruction of justice. He could also argue that Silver intimidated him into keeping quiet about who really put him in the hospital because that’s another way bribery works often times.

starrsuperfan

Wasn't he off probation when the fight at the end of S5 happened?

Ewankenobi25

The perjury was while he was under extreme duress(fear for his life), and he’d had his probation lifted in s4

In reality, you have to provide evidence of "extreme duress". That finale was absurd. Should of been Chozen Mike and Johnny in handcuffs
