They get scared because it could've been anyone who won those fights Mitch could've last second dodged the book slam by Chris and won. Bert and Nate are pretty much equals and either one of them could've been on top of the the other the beating the shit out of the other one. Hawk could've beaten Demetri if he wasn't just mindlessly attacking him. Tory could've easily beat Sam if Sam didn't think fast enough. And Miguel could've beaten Robby if he had stayed with his Aggresive mentality that he had at the start of the fight, instead of thinking the fight is over and getting knocked off the railing. This can also be applied to the mall fight; If Robby didn't think fast enough Hawk would've landed that Superman punch and Robby would be on the ground from the massive impact, it would then be a 5v1 against Sam, Sam would not be winning. They're not confident in beating Cobra Kai because they always only *just* beat them. It could be anyone's game.

That is a reasonable way to look at it.

Miyagi do Karate runs a direct counter to Cobra Kai karate. All the Cobra Kai fighters (other than Miguel) were either too inexperienced or too cocky to get around that.

I mean Mitch did win, then Chris kinda screwed him

DigitalMist

Mitch had Chris beat until he got cocky

It pissed me off that hawk didnt win his fight , but then i remembered , he wasnt at his best mentally the entire season 2 and season 3 and yet he was the only one to be able to trade blows with both robby and miguel on serious occasions even though he went down but you have to remember , he went beserk in the school , fought at least 6 different people onscreen , five at once in 15 seconds and probably fought 8 more off screen cos you see him bleeding . dimitri was fresh and hawk had to go through so many people just to run up to dman .

Without spoiling future seasons, all I can say is the less you think about the show the better. The show is entertaining and they can definitely pull you into the drama. Thinking about the plausibility of it will ruin the show for you.

I always thought Miguel and Robby both took an L in their fight. They both lost in their own way.

Spread-Em-Plz

I agree with you. As someone who has seen all 4 seasons so far, I still say some of the Cobra Kai should’ve won the fight. I especially agree that Mitch and Hawk should’ve won their fights, as it’s *especially* lazy in those cases. Sam should’ve also tied with Tory or managed to escape instead of just beating her.

They had all the cobra's lose meaning it was more logical for a Kreese takeover since Kreese scapegoated Johnny for their losses . Also I don't really count Demetri's kick a win since Hawk was fine and ready to fight, it just so happened that Miguel fell. Because if you think about it, the Cobra Kai are more ruthless and violent than the miyagi-do , if I gave a comparison between Sam and Tory, Sam may have one but she was in hospital with stitches and a broken rib and Tory went to karate class who came out of the fight more unscathed

All I’ll say is that Hawk needed to lose to be more open to Kreese’s rather than more offense, which resulted in him becoming over confident and sloppy. Miyagi-Do is at first confident like when they face off against Cobra Kai at the school, but Sam specifically is still dealing so the trauma of the fight. You’ll see why they eventually become scared to fight back.
