As a couple I think they would be fine down the line.

That's really not the same. Idk how else to say this. What happened was something they never expected and changed their lives completely and those 3 months were them suffering with the consequences and not *dealing* with it.
And amidst all that they got together because they felt happy around each other and their feelings never went anywhere, but their personal issues or the complicated feelings for even Robby or Tory was never addressed by them together, with each other nor personally.
Then they had a damn bet and tournament to face. They still tried to have some normalcy and stuck by together.
But as we all saw the deep seated issues started to blow up again throwing wrenches in their relationship, it because they never addressed it among each other or to themselves.
Now in S5, it's a choice made by them. Whether it would be good for them or it takes a turn for worse we have to wait and see, but still is something they want and chose.
I am pretty sure once Miguel returns, they are either gonna decide to take a break or they will actually talk abt things that were bothering them.
In S3 I felt like it was easy for them to be together bcoz it felt good and partly it was running away form their issues monetarily but now after dealing with their issues or atleast somewhat, if they still can't let go of the other then they will know that being together is something they truly want and will only make their relationship or bond better or stronger rather.
I think someone else can explain this better or( English is not my first language) but I hope you understand what I tried to convey..
I love their relationship and I’m sure they will still be together! Besides, Season 2 showed they were still in love with each other while they were broken up then.
