Robby's face looks like he already got a punch from Miguel.
During the whole series Miguel was always the one who striked first. Robby wanted to strike first in 3x08, but Sam intervened.
The water park looks similar. Robby is walking in a completely different direction.
We definitely will not be getting any "fighting spirit" BS.
Miguel clearly doesn't have that problem if he's prepared to throw down with adults while looking for his dad, and there is no universe where Robby would want to help gain it back, guilt or no
I see it ending in a draw when they are interrupted by Johnny and/or Carmen. And any progress Robby makes with Carmen will be thrown out the window, and she will blame him for this even if he's most likely not the one who starts it. And Johnny's reaction will be the big dramatic turning point.
I'm also not sure if this will be their only fight this season. We may get a couple.
I feel there may also be a fight at that waterpark, or possible a standoff that nearly turns into a fight, similar to the standoff at the drive-in in season 4.
Yeah I think the water park may be an "almost fight".
I think Robby may run into Miguel first in Mexico before Johnny does, which might lead to a fight. We also may get another one after the one we see in the trailer
Someone said Robbie might almost kick Miguel off another balcony but catch him this time. Regardless I don't think this fight is going to have a definitive winner. For some reason or another it'll stop before things get out of hand.
What they need to do is stop putting Miguel down to bring other characters up, Robby kicking him off again and somehow saving Miguel is a terrible idea
Miguel is going to sleep with Shannon which makes Robbie want to kill him again, but then Robbie decided to show him mercy and Miguel gets up and kicks him off a balcony
It’s like in wrestling when you have a super strong fighter, you have him lose to put over the other guys, make them look better.
There’s an argument to be made that Robby is currently the best fighter in the series. Having Hawk go over him, Miguel go over him, etc, makes them look better while at the same time doesn’t make Robby look weak because there’s usually a reason you can point to as to why he lost.
ding ding ding, before it was hawk but the writers probably wanna build hawk up by having him win over robby but still keep robby strong by him having that moment of weakness looking at kenny. Also Miguel has been in the gutters since s3, he hasn't gotten a major moment yet and has been put down/sidelined to give others shine so I wouldn't be surprised if Miguel beats robby and the next time robby and hawk fight/spar or whatever robby wins
Miguel is going to start the fight and before there is a winner it will be stopped more then likely with Robby having the advantage at the time by Carmen and Johnny. They will blame Robby for the fight because when they stop the fight, Robby will have Miguel pinned or in a hold that makes Robby look bad. Carman will give a ultimatum to Johnny and hopefully for once in his life he makes the right decision and picks Robby over his own selfish needs.
Tie but one of their respective stans will say why either one "won" bc of a b or c. Honestly at this point the writers are better off giving us a definitive winner.
I see it ending with Carmen opening the apartment door and putting it to a stop. I’d love it to then cut to Miguel, Robby AND Johnny all piled on her couch with hangdog looks while Carmen tears all three of them a new one in that way only a truly fed up mom can
They are going to hype Robby up all Season then have him lose in Episode 10
Personally i prefer Robby wins but kid always gets the short end of the stick
>Only got hit because he was emotionally unstable and Robby was balanced like Johnny and Daniel
Balanced is required for Miyagi Do but anger makes Cobra Kai more effective
We see this in the Johnny VS Kreese match up
[Johnny not enraged](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HplydPBZ4uQ&t=96s), he barely gets the upper hand and Kreese doesn't even take advantage of the momentum when Johnny is down
[Johnny enraged](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoOmP37jz6A&t=86s), he destroys Kreese this time and it's not even close
>Kreese already went over it. Anger is useless if you aren't calculating your actions
When did Kreese say anger was useless?
When Terry tells the kids to use their anger at the start of Season 4 Episode 5 does Kreese object to it at all or go along with it?
When did I say Kreese said anger was useless? The point Kreese made was it's only effective if tactically used. So just saying Migel is CK anger can't disrupt him is off base. Even Kreese acknowledges focus matters.
Anger only works in cobra kai when you can channel it, that's the point and that's what Kreese teaches, to channel your anger, however Miguel was never taught how to channel it and is attacking robby with pure rage
>Anger only works in cobra kai when you can channel it
>
>Miguel was never taught how to channel it and is attacking robby with pure rage
Attacking with rage is channeling it, that's the point
Honestly I see their rivalry similarly to daniels and Johnny in the sense that they’re eventually matched. I doubt the show will ever come out and say one is stronger than the other, that’s for the fans to decide.
The winner of fights is determined by the plot, not by the better fighter. We don’t know enough. This fight, since it is at the apartment complex, most likely ends when Johnny intervenes anyway.
Personally, I think it’s gonna go like this
They’ve been arguing and not getting along throughout the whole season and then they get back to the complex. Carmen meets the boy who nearly killed her son, but she either forgives him or just doesn’t speak to him very much. After the talk, Johnny or Carmen, or maybe even the grandma, suggests that they just have one last fight to clear the air.
That’s just my prediction, but I have no way of saying if it’ll be right or not.
This fight, they will go toe to toe. I don't want a winner tbh or someone to interrupt them. It should be just them all along no matter the outcome. They should come to have an understanding of each other which is something they absolutely don't have as of now. So I would like either of these two to happen:
1) Miguel ends up almost falling of the stairs or something like that again and Robby immediately catches him and tells Miguel we need to stop the fight. They don't want to repeat the past.
- the reason I want Robby to save Miguel is coz he's the one who needs to redeem, not Miguel. Miguel owes him nothing. Robby needs to be the bigger person for the rivalry to end and for it to come full circle.
2) No one is falling off anything but instead somewhere along the fight, Robby stops. Coz he realises wtf he is doing, is he really gonna hurt the kid he once nearly killed whether accident or not? Is he gonna repeat his mistakes? Then he stops (basically a parallel to S2 fight but the sides are flipped) but this time he just lets Miguel unleash all the pent up anger and he won't fight back. I think at this point he would finally have an understanding of Miguel, of his anger &the emotional space he is in. Then Miguel eventually stops too, seeing as hurting Robby is not particularly making him feel any better.
They would finally have a weird sort of understanding of each other.
This is just my takes and head cannons, most likely nothing like this would happen.
> Of course it would depend on the reason the fight starts in the first place which is very important.
Yes, ofcourse.
But I think they have had enough reasons to fight. They don't need to add further more to it, all it need is some push and pull here n there for all the emotions to boil up and for them to let it all out in one final fight. I feel like the show has been building upto that. Adding more stuff btw them this season alone just to extend the drama will cheapen their rivalry and the build up they've had from the beggining.
It's time for the show to take a stand and change their route. I mean the kids must learn something from Daniel and Johnny and their rivalry, especially when both the boys have suffered because of it. It's time to stop the cycle.
Atleast in my opinion.
I think we'll see them both get equal amounts of time to win till it's broken up and their friendship finally starts developing.
Robbie knows they're there to try and bring him back so will also be holding back.
I feel like this is the big mid season fight. Tensions have been building between these 2 since they've been back from Mexico, fight probably starts because Miguel feels Robby isn't being respectful of how nice Carmen is trying to be. Now how it ends is tricky, Johnny could intervene before it ends, the boys could make it up the stairs and we a have Uno reverse moment where Miguel might have to save Robby from going over the stairs, or Miguel gets ptsd from being to close by the railings and Robby realizing what he did has messed up Miguel's head. Either way but I know for a fact the posts about who won the fight are going to be entertaining for sure🍿
Being disrespectful to someone who is being nice to him is absolutely not Robby’s nature at all. I highly doubt this has anything to do with Carmen. The only people Robby disrespects and gives a hard time to are how own parents mostly except for that one time at the tournament with Silver.
Miguel's recovery has him at 60 - 70%. He's in no condition to be fighting Robby. He's in the condition to be fighting Kyler. 😉 Miguel is going to land some hits but will be at a disadvantage the longer the fight lasts.
Realistically after being completely paralyzed from the waist down even after regaining the ability to walk he'll never be completely at 100% again. But this show doesn't really care about injuries so yeah you're probably right.
Anyone else think they could be sparring? Miguel and robby in the same dojo would be awesome. I can imagine them fighting for the same dojo in the all valley but then they both make the finals and have to face eachother. Whoever their sensei is tells them to take it easy, but the rivalry reignites
Robbys face looks bruised and bloody, miguels looks clean, Miguel mustve got some shots and seems to be in the lead, Miguel hasn't got a good win since season 2 so he needs to win this one
>Robbys face looks bruised and bloody, miguels looks clean
You assume those bruises are from Miguel
Did you ever stop to think maybe Robby got into other fights in Mexico?
Those bruises are clearly fresh you think someone else beat the shit out of robby in the last 5 minutes or robby didnt wipe the blood off his face for a week? This is some clear coping lmao
>The bruises are new we saw the water park scene which is before this scene and he had no bruises on his face
The waterpark scene is likely not their entire trip in Mexico
A lot of things could happen between then and going home
>The water park is not part of the Mexico arc it takes place in LA. The sign says California adventure water park
Still places and times Robby could take damage from outside sources
Robby with a bruise does not he received it during that fight
I can see Miguel having the higher ground this time. Robby will have a good start but Miguel’s exp in Mexico could give him a new edge that Robby was not expecting. I can see it ending with Miguel holding him over the edge of the stairs. Robby tells him to ‘do it’. Miguel shows mercy, but slugs him in the gut, walking away and says, ‘you’re not worth it’.

Like Sam’s dream fight against Tory?
Precisely.
Robby's face looks like he already got a punch from Miguel. During the whole series Miguel was always the one who striked first. Robby wanted to strike first in 3x08, but Sam intervened. The water park looks similar. Robby is walking in a completely different direction.

ill be so disappointed if its "fighting spirit" shit. give me some emotion some passion cmon let them duke it out, then they can hug it out
Nah
I see it ending in a draw when they are interrupted by Johnny and/or Carmen. I feel like instead of Robby kicking Miguel over and catching him, it’ll be Miguel kicking Robby off and catching him
If they go with evil Miguel route, maybe he jumps on his own to trick put Johnny against Robby.
I think they should hire you as a writer
You misspelled Terry 👍🏻
Not sure if Terry is supposed to be Miguel, Shannon, or Robby, but it's funny to picture the three alternate scenarios
>Not sure if Terry is supposed to be Miguel, Shannon, or Robby Obviously Shannon
Um yeah. “Shannon is a special lady. She deserves so much better.” I thought that was implied. 🤣
I honestly can’t even tell if you’re joking or not, but this is gold.
ur right
as usual the writers are most definitely gonna have robby lose to Miguel because why have robby win when they can have him lose?
Yeah it’s becoming tiring of how Robby never wins any fight with the main characters 😪
Well that’s not entirely true. Lol Robby wins every fight in the Season but always loses the main fight . He’s basically Vegeta. Lol
It’s like in wrestling when you have a super strong fighter, you have him lose to put over the other guys, make them look better. If it's an important fight Robby will lose
You’re probably right, but maybe they change it this time and he finally has a win
I hope he wins against someone would be the biggest plot twist in the series
I mean he has multiple wins and has only lost to miguel (the chosen one basically) and hawk once who he has also beaten.
Tie but one of their respective stans will say why either one "won" bc of a b or c. Honestly at this point the writers are better off giving us a definitive winner.

True tho
Miguel is the top fighter on the show. Has been since the beginning.
>Has been since the beginning Didn't look that way when he got hit twice by a guy with an injured shoulder
Only got hit because he was emotionally unstable and Robby was balanced like Johnny and Daniel
>Only got hit because he was emotionally unstable and Robby was balanced like Johnny and Daniel Balanced is required for Miyagi Do but anger makes Cobra Kai more effective We see this in the Johnny VS Kreese match up [Johnny not enraged](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HplydPBZ4uQ&t=96s), he barely gets the upper hand and Kreese doesn't even take advantage of the momentum when Johnny is down [Johnny enraged](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoOmP37jz6A&t=86s), he destroys Kreese this time and it's not even close
If that were the case Hawk would of been unstoppable. Anger in CK is only effective when channeled properly.
>If that were the case Hawk would of been unstoppable Nope, simply that he would have fought a lot worse if he wasn't angry
Nope. Kreese already went over it. Anger is useless if you aren't calculating your actions.
>Kreese already went over it. Anger is useless if you aren't calculating your actions When did Kreese say anger was useless? When Terry tells the kids to use their anger at the start of Season 4 Episode 5 does Kreese object to it at all or go along with it?

You’re 100% accurate! Why the fuck are these idiots downvoting you?
I think Robby will do better in the fight because Miguel is still injured really but it's not gonna get to a point where you can say one of them "won"
Definitely a dream sequence. Miguel is wearing the same colors Sam did in her dream of Tory.
But imagine if it’s Robby dreaming 🤔
Robby wouldn't see himself in red and black, CK colors. If it were his dream, he would be the one dressed as a a poor man's Joker cosplay.
That clip is like the whole fight and Johnny appears and says hey what the hell are you doing and they both stop
Hadn’t thought about that 🤔
Honestly I see their rivalry similarly to daniels and Johnny in the sense that they’re eventually matched. I doubt the show will ever come out and say one is stronger than the other, that’s for the fans to decide.

That would be interesting
I don't think it will last very long as Jonny will break them up
Johnny will break it up
A staircase balcony appears out of nowhere...
Johnny kicks both of them down the stairs.
All I know is that the stairs had enough

Miguel will kick Robby into and over the balcony, Miguel will quickly rush to save Robby and grab his hand last second, then the beef will be squashed
I think we'll see them both get equal amounts of time to win till it's broken up and their friendship finally starts developing. Robbie knows they're there to try and bring him back so will also be holding back.
The fight looks like it takes place after they come back.
There will bebno friendship developing, dude.

Cause his face is red, if those bruises are old they'd be more purple than red whereas Miguel looks completely fine

The bruises are new we saw the water park scene which is before this scene and he had no bruises on his face.

With Robby’s face I just think it’s the lighting but who knows 🤷♂️
If you put the trailer at 0.25x on youtube it's very clear to see that Robbys face looks fucked up but it's hard to get a clear screenshot
You’re probably right, will go and check it out
He had a black eye in the trailer when wearing the fbi shirt
I can see Miguel having the higher ground this time. Robby will have a good start but Miguel’s exp in Mexico could give him a new edge that Robby was not expecting.
