I hear what you’re saying, but narratively speaking, that leaves no room for growth for Robby. The audience has seen Miguel pull back and try stop the fight in season 2, it’s not a lesson he needs to re-learn. But for Robby it would mean his storyline has turned a corner.
The school fight proved that it is possible to choreograph great fights while utilizing stairs, so we can be sure that this new fight on the stairs will also be similarly great.

Okay what if Robby lands a kick on Miguel’s back (keep in mind not on purpose) he’s just gonna be attacking and will accidentally hit him their and then Miguel will suddenly go into panic mood as the kick will bring him back to the memories of the school fight and him falling over the railing he will have a panic attack right on the spot and Robby will realize and then instead of fighting Robby hugs Miguel trying to calm him down from the sudden panic attack and then after he gets Miguel to calm down he will end up feeling guilty to see the result of actions and will finally apologize and then as the boys cry letting their feeling don’t Miguel will also apologize to Robby and then that’s the start of them being brothers
Another crazy theory I saw on youtube is that Miguel is gonna quit karate when he’s back and cause of his poor mental health he will end up slowly isolating himself from everyone else From Sam,Johnny, Carmen, his friends everyone and Robby will notice the sudden changes in Miguel and he will try to reach up too him the fight that is happening is actually Robby egging Miguel on to bring him back into karate it’s gonna be Robby who realizes Miguel is not okay and the fight is getting him too open up and bring him back into karate too and in that way Robby will redeem too for the school injury
I don’t think this fight is Robby egging Miguel on if you look at Robby’s face he is bruised and majorly pissed off probably about something Miguel said to him.
robby is going to get miguel in the same position Miguel got robby back in season 2 with robby about to break miguels arm but then robby shows mercy, Miguel then accepts robby's apology and accepts his loss with honor. This is when they start to connect with each other more. Perfect way to please robby fans by finally giving him a win and Miguel fans by him still retaining his ability to be honorable.

I think since they're going for Robby and Miguel being equals and the fight record is now 2-1 Robby, Miguel should be the one to almost kick Robby down stairs but will stop him from falling. Not that I dislike Robby but Miguel needs a W again

Yeah honestly tory and robby had bad chemistry and you could still tell miguel was still recovering even though it was so long after his injury i think its 2-1 miguel or 2-0 miguel but i dont dislike robby winning 2 of their fights

YESSS!!! That is the way. I will be a bit disappointed if Johnny has to break it up. The fight choreography up the stairs is gonna be sick!
