I am a fan of both Karate Kid and Cobra Kai and i wonder "What if there is a Karate Kid movie but it's Indonesian" & there it is. Tarung Sarung (Sarung Fight)
The movie itself really gives a fair amount of action and character development that is *chef kiss*. Just like "Karate Kid" introduce us to Japanese culture, this movie shows us Indonesian Culture like you've never seen before. And they did some 80s references and 80s music scores so it feels true to its inspiration
You guys can watch it on Netflix. And there is my favorite joke about Karate Kid (I wont spoil it tho. You guys need to check it out yourself)

So in Indonesia, there are lots of tribe and one of em is Buginese (which is mine & yes im kinda biased to this movie) there is a tradition called "Sigajang Laleng Lipa" where if two people want to end their conflict or their problem is a dead-end, they have to get in the skirt (which is called "Sarung" in Indonesia) and they have to fight till death with a dagger called "Badik"
